You know, it occurs to me that the perspective we get on the Klingons in canon is incomplete. After all, they are a multi-system, spacefaring (and quite highly developed) race. It follows that a significant percentage of the Klingon population is engaged in much less martially glorious pursuits, such as scientific research, farming, commerce, etc. So the image we have is somewhat like making a judgment about the human race based on a few random meetings with SEALs and Marines. Ponder that a while....

Of course the Klingons have scientists , who find new advances in war. And farmers who grow food for warriors. And even poet who write about......well, there is a bit of a trend here, but afterall , they are supposed to be Klingons Yuri. Poetry spouting flower children just don't make a good story. Earth gets invaded by ...Hippies? Sorry , no sale!
