Wenn ist das nunstück gitt und slotermeyer? Ja! Beierhund das oder die flipperwald gersput! This is what I get with Google translator: quote:
If the outlet and is nunstück Slotermeyer? Yes! Beier dog or gersput flipper forest! Don't get it... perhaps it is not Greman... Well, then we know you're not German... EDIT: You really don't understand it? Sorry... nope... Leo, The previous references were from a Monty Python skit about using humor as a weapon. It involved British WWII infantry going 'over the top' whilest reading from this humor weapon as they marched forward. A number of developers of this humor weapon died during it's creation-laughing themselves to death. Thus, for safety sake, no single developer was allowed more than a few words at a time. The Germans, of course, tried to counter with their own joke creation which was faithfully (mis)translated for the audience. I believe Hitler himself attempted the 'how does your dog smell?' joke to his Hitler jugen faithful. Of course, being Germans, their efforts at military-grade humor were subpar. Hope this helps. Ahh I see... thanks for info! While I like British humor very much I never ever liked the Monty Pythons (and never realy watched their episodes)... Leo "Apollo11"
