I never thought about them as parts 1 and 2, just 2 books with different foci.

Great gifts, Leo!  I've read "Castles of Steel", and loved it.  Want to read "Dreadnought", but have not yet.

Thanks!

Not sure which order they were released in, Leo, but "Dreadnought" is the years building up to WWI, and "Castles of Steel" is mostly the duration of WWI. I read it to learn much more about the WWI war at sea. I was impressed enough by it and Massey, that I want to read "Dreadnought".

Yep... it was type on my part...

The "Part 1" = "Dreadnought" and it deals with all stuff up until start of WWI (i.e. summer of 1914).

The "Part 2" = "Castles of Steel" and it deals with all stuff in WWI (i.e. sumemr 1914 - 1918).

Leo, Martin, Yuri, Simon, Dale, thanks to all of you.
Without asking for anything, you all sent messages of hopes (even if in final i am all alone facing my feelings of "despair"), and that's nice to read !

For now, Claire is my reason to live (well, since i met her 8 years ago), and probably the only "thing" that give me some good time yet.
Of course there are still some hard time, but i really believe ( stronger than hope) that things will get better with time.
I just have to learn to "grow" and admit that things are going badly (or boring, or annoying) but don't have much importance (family, interest in work, PBEM (yes, it is childish, but it hurt me, too much to my own taste ) , or even neighbours). I have the strange feeling that i kept good this winter, but since weeks, pressure is less heavy, and so i can't manage to "mobilize" myself as before.
Thanks to all of you, it warm my heart !

Will even maybe get back to my AAR thanks to you (but i can't promise i wont be whinning in it ).
But still don't have much time for THE THREAD!!!

Keep care of you, both !

I was reading some reviews on the new Robin Hood movie yesterday. Some of the movies were complaining the movie wasn't following history. Did these guys forget that Robin Hood is a legend? The guy din't really exist. When you are telling a story that is fiction you can move things around a little.

It was a good movie. Who cares that King Phillip didn't really try to invade England in 1199. Most people still think that John was a bad king. That is fairly well documented. He did manage to lose most of his French possessions before he died. For crying out loud it's a movie...................

Are you guys sure that the guy in video is Australian?

I though the video was made in UK...

Pretty good flick if a standard sort of story line.

Moderate to good senseless violence. I know they wanted the PG-13 kiddies to attend, but this film was in dire need of more graphic violence and a subsequent R rating . . . . which, of course, would have allowed nudity. . . . something else this movie needed.

Agreed. AE is obviously borked as there is no nudity in it.
