Started off the holiday weekend with a sandwich from Kepley’s, a local barb-b-que place. Tender pork in a subtle vinegar and red pepper sauce, topped with red cabbage slaw…add a few hush puppies and you’ve got a heavenly Tarheel delicacy. I’ve never found this style of barb-b-que anywhere else.

That sounds yummy. The vinegar BBQ tastes better to me than many of the many of the heavy brown sugar and bourbon recipes..

Because of the vinegar based sauce, Kepley's, sans hushpuppies, is actually (dare I say it?)...healthy BBQ...not the usual overly sweet, grease-dripping concoction.

Evening tithe from sunny California.

Spent about 3 hours at DFW today. Sure was humid.

Just wondering if anyone here may have time to help out with a potential small scenario for AE.  I'm considering putting together something based around the third arakan campaign, not sure on much more than that at the moment.  I'm hoping to have a lot of leave approved soon so I'll have some free time to muck about with this kind of stuff.

What would you need, Martin?

Heya Dixie if I can I would be happy to contribute.

At the minute it's just entered the starting research phase. Sorting the oobs out, deciding when it should start etc. I've not played much with the editor, so I'm probably going to be asking quite a few questions at the start, particularly with regards to the LCU side of things.

Interesting, but it hardly reveals any new info. It also has the always popular mention of BC terror raids

My favourite "Battle of Britain" book is still "Fighter" by Len Deighton...

I refer you to whatever post it was where I said Diego lacked the tactical ability to overcome a deficit against a well-disciplined German team.

Well, I'm a hell of a football tactician

The German team should be an example to certain other nations, who shall remain nameless, of how an organised team of above average players can dominate a world class team and come out on top.
