damn bad day.
Guys, going to whin, be warned. And long post

so maybe some of you remenber that i brillantely succeeded some exams back in february this year.
With this exam, i could pretend to a new rank in the french administration.
Just so you can understand, there are 3 ranks, from C (the worst, wich i was) to A (the best). My exam entitled me to have a B job.

A few days after, i went to the RH departement of my administration/public service, and had a talk with the Major wich is the right arm of the Colonel leading the RH
(yes, i am in a public service with real true officers, but this is not the army).
This men told me that for the time being, no job with a new rank was expected to be created in our administration. I had to wait a bit.
But not too long: i only have 3 years to find a job of level B, and if not, i loose my exam.

In the end of june, there was an offer for a job level B in my administration. So i decided to attend (made a letter, had an interview, and so on).
Now here is waht disgust me.

Let me explain you as best as i can (not easy in a foreign language).
The job was held by a girl on private basis contract. That's a bit particular (but i won't enter political debate here, just explaining the facts and the law) but it is allowed by the law. Now, at the end of june , this contract end. And the RH departement offer the job again. Strangely, the job was to be a B or A level (should have been decided before seeing the people in interview). Of course, i wanted a B job, and i send my offer.
There were 3 people (with me) having a Public contract and exam willing the job, and the girl with the private contract. One of the 3 public worker already was working at a B level, had a A exam, and wanted the job on a A level.

What the law say is :"if there is a job, the public workers MUST have it first; only of no public workers look for the job can it be given to a private contract worker".
So we should have been only 3 to compete for the job. There was NO particular knowledge to have (that could explain what happened) and the girl that had the job was at the post since only 1 year, so there is not either a question of experience.

Not only does the RH departement choose the girl on private contract (wich is illegal), but they decided to attend her to a A level.....
Of course, she is probably more sexy than me when in short skirt .

I am really disgusted with my service.

how do you look in shaved legs, skirt and mascara?

dear drivers of the world,
that lever on the steering column is what's known as a "turn signal", or more colloquially a "blinker"...it doesn't take much effort to activate and you would be amazed how much smoother driving would be for everyone if even half of you morons used it. i know not all of you are originally from the US...but i'm still pretty sure you had turn signals in your vehicles back home too. i'm just sayin'...

ORIGINAL: Some spammer sending me emails.

Attn: My Dear,

I am Mrs Dorothy Suresh Garcia, I am a US citizen, 48 years Old. I reside here in New Braunfels Texas. My residential address is as follows. 108 Crockett Court. Apt 303, New Braunfels Texas, United States, am thinking of relocating since I am now rich. I am one of those that took part in the Compensation in Nigeria many years ago and they refused to pay me, I had paid over US$20,000 while in the US, trying to get my payment all to no avail.

So I decided to travel down to Nigeria with all my compensation documents, And I was directed to meet Mr.FESTUS AKINOLA, who is the member of COMPENSATION AWARD COMMITTEE, and I contacted him and he explained everything to me. He said whoever is contacting us through emails are fake.

He took me to the paying bank for the claim of my Compensation payment. Right now I am the most happiest woman on earth because I have received my compensation funds of $1,500,000.00 Moreover, Mr FESTUS AKINOLA, showed me the full information of those that are yet to receive their payments and I saw your name as one of the beneficiaries, and your email address, that is why I decided to email you to stop dealing with those people, they are not with your fund, they are only making money out of you. I will advise you to contact FESTUS AKINOLA.

You have to contact him directly on this information below.

COMPENSATION AWARD HOUSE
Name :Barrister FESTUS AKINOLA
Email: SPAMMYSPAMMER@micro.lt
Phone: +234-808-454-4787.

You really have to stop dealing with those people that are contacting you and telling you that your fund is with them, it is not in anyway with them, they are only taking advantage of you and they will dry you up until you have nothing.

The only money I paid after I met Mr.FESTUS AKINOLA was just US$580 for the paper works, take note of that.

Once again stop contacting those people, I will advise you to contact Mr.FESTUS AKINOLA so that he can help you to Deliver your fund instead of dealing with tose liars that will be turning you around asking for different kind of money to complete your transaction.

Thank You and Be Blessed.

Mrs Dorothy Suresh Garcia

No ****, whoever is sending out these emails is fake?!?! Does that mean that Mr FESTUS AKINOLA is also a fake? Along with Mrs Dorothy Suresh Garcia? I'm confused, and why is Mr.FESTUS AKINOLA using a Lithuanian(?) email address?

At least it's upfront about lying to me

EDIT: I changed the email address, he isn't really at SPAMMYSPAMMER. But I would tip my hat to him if he had used it

Very peculiar diction and grammatical choice for a Texan. Not even one 'y'all' to be found anywhere. And she didn't describe her surprise at finding her reward in Nigeria as 'Well, I'll be dipped in sh**".

Why should anyone care about $5.80 in inheritance? That probably wouldn't even buy a really nice Swiss chocolate bar.

Scott, you of course, gave them all your data - right?

Leo "Apollo11"

You'd better hurry Scott, he is awaits your immediate prompt response (with random Capital letters in the sentences). If you don't prompt response you won't get your USD 5.8 that needs your immediate Attenstion.

I might be missing the point, but why would you be that concerned over less than $6? Why would the Bank of Switzerland and FBI contact a vicar in Nigeria to contact you?

D'oh! Looks like Dixie saw this first.

Three days ago in a foolish accident I broke one, possibly two more toes (I say more because during the move I broke the big one that abutts them) and I want to take this moment to threaten the Thread denizens with a far more terrifying sight than anything Terminus ever fielded! I've escalated the toe race! Terminus had one particularly nasty and brutish big toe, we'll' I've now got THREE nasty, swollen and blue-black weapons of mass distraction! You've been warned! I'm the Kim Ill fool of the nuclear toe arms race!
