The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy also mentions alcohol. It says that the best drink in existence is the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, the effect of which is like having your brains smashed out with a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick."

I need one of those. Singing my first solo in church tomorrow. Feels kinda like Midway. As the Japanese. Not sure what I'm heading into.

Hopefully, when all's done, you won't have to 'apologize to his majesty'.

Hello.

Doing a big great circle thru the US in a couple weeks. Going outward is for family matters and will get to visit Elf in TX and perhaps TomLabel in AL. Coming back is business and will go to DC, then to St Louis, then Colorado Springs, and on to Mojave. Can open up the return schedule by an extra day at St Louis or the Springs. Wouldn't mind catching my breath and having a beer and talkin about stuff utterly unrelated to work. Anybody close? It's in 2 weeks.

The road from AL to DC goes through NC....

I'm almost done reading Touched with Fire by Eric Bergerud its a really great book I've enjoyed it thoroughly looking forward to Fire in the Sky. Things are pretty settled here in the new house just gotta get the guest bedroom put together. My wife got a full time job at a fancy bakery which is good she's putting her degree to some good use. Hope everybody's enjoying their weekend I will be working the rest of it.

Yes. Helicopters on the other hand are abominations

Turn arrived btw. I'll have a look at it later this afternoon.

Bah, you're both wrong. Boats and planes are similarly unnatural...

That's because Denmark, like most backwards nations, is afraid of anything that will travel faster than 25mph as you're afraid that travelling at those speeds will be fatal. Mechanical transportation would also scare the elk (or camels, I forget which) that you use for daily transport.

I object to helicopters on the basis that having the wings moving faster than the fuselage is a bloody stupid concept. Boats are just not for me, how my Dad manages to make a living working on the damn things is beyond me.
