I just scaled down faces (140x80->116x66)... originals are a bit too much invasive, maybe...

I downloaded this mod and extracted to the graphics folder in the game registry but the smaller face are not showing up in the game. How about some directions as I must be doing this wrong?

You must unzip it in the main folder of DC:TBfWtP or to copy the PNG files in the zip file in the <DC:TBfWtP>\graphics\axis general\eskubipeople folder, overwriting original files (better first backup them).

Nice mod. Can be downloaded and installed in 2 minutes.

A question, qould it be possible to move the faces a bit higher as well? With the smaller faces, now sometimes the equipment sticks in the face of the soldier, which I find not ideal.

It is possible but I should create something to cover the empty space and I am very busy...

I think I'll keep your mod already as it is, I just thought it's not ideal that the equipment interferes with the faces.
the space could be covered with
a) alpha channel ?
b) a flag ?

Here's a (very) small mod, I moved the faces a bit higher as requested, I covered the space with a colored band that remembers national medals colors (british units, even if some are NZ etc., have the same band), then I moved the artillery dot in another, more visible, position. Finally, now the selected hex is green (the target hex is red so I think the overall effect is better).

Thanks JMass ... I tried editing that selectedhex.png file and every time I messed it up. (I thought maybe it was because I used Paint instead of another more robust graphics package)
This is a big improvment IMHO. The stock pale gray color just wasn't bright enough to stand out.

I haven't looked at changing the other graphics much because I'm too busy trying to conquer France. I've seen other threads where people have substituted other graphics for the faces and equipment but for now I'll just stick with the stock stuff and concentrate on learning the game nuances. However, I'll take what I can get from you guys.

thanks again
