Anyways, kuddos for going back to training mode. I lack the courage to make the same thing

Hmm ... just noticed that I've lost a "Matrix star". Have they changed the number of posts required for the different levels recently?

yep, me too. all the way back from 4 or 5 stars to none. but my elevated rank was just 'star inflation' caused by some hacking a few days ago. i've probably posted 20 - 30 times and i have no idea if that 'earns' a star or not.

but if you are feeling depressed about the lose of a star, i'd recommend looking back a few pages in this thread to find the picture of the four beer wenches. it will make you feel better. i give them eight stars!
(by the way, the one on the right is mine)

Per, I think you're really close to "honestly" earning that 5th star. I believe it's at 2500 posts.

I had that fifth star since I broke 1000 posts, way before the forum was hacked.

No big deal though. I can always engage in a chat with thread brother [spambot], or do some fabers to keep logboy on the carpet.

Pity that. Sorry to see that the backbiting/stabbing is going on in your workplace...

Have you upgraded your alert to, "have another cup of tea" or is it beyond that?

I'm sure you can find his 'knowledge' on Google. Just send the link to the rest of the team.

One of my "side jobs" is managing around 90 lab machines for various members of our development and test team to use. I need to be able to get onto them at all times to run security aduits, etc. When the users change the administrator password and don't tell me the new one, my usual threat is, "If I cannot get logged onto this machine within the next 24 hours, I will have to completely erase it and reload the operating system on it." I rarely end up having to reload any systems.

Horror films on the couch, eh? She'll be getting 'scared' and sitting very close? Sometimes jumping in his lap and grabbing him for 'reassurance'?

Sprior,

I wanted to suggest another zombie-themed movie.  You may want to try 'Shaun of the Dead' or the campy older 'Dawn of the Dead'.  Why?  There's plenty of zombies getting shot or bludgeoned in the head in either movie.  Then you could casually stroll by the couch at some point declaring, "That's what I'd do if I found some lecherous bugger putting his paws on my daughter.  Shoot 'im in the head."  Stroll off.  Point made.

Since BFU is likely a bit on the dense side (he IS a teenage boy), you may have to reinforce this image by cleaning and noisily racking your shotgun in the other room.
