I'm a bit slow when it comes to newer bands, but I do like The Hold Steady. Smart lyrics and good playing, with their lead singer being an anti-rock star.

When flicking aimlessly through the SKY channels the other day, I came across Meet Joe Black. Instantly remembered what a great soundtrack went with that film and wasted no time in downloading it. Excellent music - would not be out of place in a war film.

I live in San Diego Sala. I listen to 91X all the time. Have been for the last 25 years.  Not familair with 103.1 though. What exactly did they play?
