Hi,

this game looks great but without a demo it is hard to buy it for me...
So this is some kind of general problem but especially for such more complex games a demo would be nice to help people get into it.

Will there be a demo in the future ?

Many of the games here don't have a demo because they devote the time to create one into further development. Something about research too.

Ok, but is there a good tutorial included into the game ?
Combined with a usefull manual i hope.

Another question:
What Screen resolutions are aviable ?
Widescreen too ?

And can i run this in windowed mode ?

The game includes a tutorial. It isn't the best tutorial I have ever seen, but it's not the worst either.

The game runs in pretty much every resolution. I haven't heard of one it doesn't support yet. I have personally run the game at 2560x1440, 1920x1080 and 1920x1200.

No windowed mode.

It's a good wargame. I think the interface could use some extra user-friendly additions but it's not anything game-stopping.

I run it at 1680x1050 (16:10) widescreen.

If you're in doubt about a game, here, check the game's AAR section in these forums. There's usually some after action reports that include screenshots that give a very good representation of the gameplay. I'd venture that they are better indicators of the gameplay since someone narrates their full-game session.

IMO Demos are good for testing performance and compatibility but I've never been sold on a demo alone since much of the gameplay is often cut out of it.

Advanced Tactics had a lousy tutorial too. Hopefully, that will be rectified in future releases, but I'm not holding my breath. With that being said, I liked AT, and will, unless the creek rises, purchase AT Gold.
