;Valkensward

Attempted to make a quick advance at each map edge trying to avoid inflicting enemy casualties until as many VL's as possible could be gobbled up.

The German AT and Stug. were positioned well forward though, so had to be dealt with.

Infantry managed to take 3 VL's up the main road but German FM failed giving two extra VL's.

Fingers crossed that the charge misfires....All out charge at the bridge.

No luck... the Germans Blow the Bridge with no chance to take it.

Big push up the left Flank... again try and take VL's before German morale fails.

managed to get the Bridge as a gift when morale failed.

Again, try and avoid inflicting casualties until crucial VL's are taken.

lay smoke and use natural cover to sweep between obvious strong points - "Do not Engage The Enemy"

Once the bridge was secure the strong points could be secured.... A gift of 2 VL's when morale failed.

jerry has no AT capability left after losing Stug. and 75mm AT in round 1.

Sent a 2ng Bg to reinforce.

They both had existing deploy... no entry VL for the new BG???

It could only field 2 x snipers...maybe that's why?

Just rushed the village and scared the BO away.

Brink has just arrived on best.

The two Allied BG's don't give him an inch.

Nijmegen Bridge 18th Sep midnight

By moving quickly two US AB BG's converge on the Nijmegen Bridges under the cover of darkness.

which meant advanatgeous deployment

Double time across the road bridge ensured it's availability to XXX corps when it arrives.

The BO fought hard and time went the distance.

Arnhem Bridge midnight 18 sept.

Howards's men move swiftly through the city streets and rush the sleepy guard posts.

If it were Pegasus he'd be shouting Ham and Jam.
