;Valkensward

Attempted to make a quick advance at each map edge trying to avoid inflicting enemy casualties until as many VL's as possible could be gobbled up.

[image]http://closecombatwar.com/AAR/Valken1.jpg[/image]

The German AT and Stug. were positioned well forward though, so had to be dealt with.

[image]http://www.closecombatwar.com/AAR/valken2.jpg[/image]

Infantry managed to take 3 VL's up the main road but German FM failed giving two extra VL's.

[image]http://www.closecombatwar.com/AAR/best1.jpg[/image]

No luck... the Germans Blow the Bridge with no chance to take it.

Andrew Williams -> RE: Airborne Army Captures Dutch Towns... (11/29/2010 9:20:21 PM)

St. Odenrode

Big push up the left Flank... again try and take VL's before German morale fails.

[image]http://www.closecombatwar.com/AAR/odenrode1.jpg[/image]

managed to get the Bridge as a gift when morale failed.

Andrew Williams -> RE: Airborne Army Captures Dutch Towns... (11/29/2010 9:28:12 PM)

Veghel

Again, try and avoid inflicting casualties until crucial VL's are taken.

lay smoke and use natural cover to sweep between obvious strong points - "Do not Engage The Enemy"

[image]http://www.closecombatwar.com/AAR/veghel1.jpg[/image]

Once the bridge was secure the strong points could be secured.... A gift of 2 VL's when morale failed.

[image]http://www.closecombatwar.com/AAR/veghel2.jpg[/image]

Andrew Williams -> RE: Airborne Army Captures Dutch Towns... (11/29/2010 10:12:33 PM)
