Hi, maybe I'm being silly but how do you get rid of the very loud beep noise when selecting anything. I ask as it's driving me nuts. I have tried turning down the music and fx levels and even the volume on windows. Can anyone help?

C:\Matrix Games\Distant Worlds\Sounds\Effects
There are 2 .wav files called 'button1' and button2'

you can either replace em with something more subtle or edit them in a sound program and reduce the volume.

Your pick.
