No, in my case, my lovely bride hit me over the head with a club and said, "You'll do."

And you obediently went to the altar and said "I do"

I am playing as Japan, and am in early October. I think I have been wasting my fighters trying to defend up to this point. But then again I am not sure how best to go about this.

I looked at both sides before choosing which to play. The amount of Allied material is nearly overwhelming. I chose Japan at least in part because I thought it might be easier to deal with

The amount of damage to HI that even one raid by the 29s can accomplish is a serious problem for the Japanese player. I think if the Allies hit the Osaka HI very early, then stay focused on the other large HI locations, then attack refinerys the Japanese player is going to find it difficult to replenish fighter losses.

I'm at Jan 12 playing as allies against Andy. I've captured all of Kyushu and got stuck trying to cross the the Big island. Trying to work out how to lever him out of the crossing hex.

Wow, another loooooong night of homework and test prep duty for me, and I'm not even the one doing the work!

Almost wrapped for tonight.  There's still work that should be done tonight, but with a semester comprehensive text in Algebra and a Science test tomorrow, sleep needs to fit into the equation somewhere.

Yes. Yes it does. Right after you run the turn we just sent you, Allied dog!

I was asleep 30 minutes before you posted, dude. My partner, however, was very busy plotting your destruction from his end.

Hi all,

How is it going guys?

Here the winter started again with rain and snow (we had 10-14 days of pure spring with temperatures of around 10-15 degrees Centigrade)...

IT department is moving to the first floor. Just spent 3 hours lifting tiles to locate power and data outlets.

Leo, things are good here.  We've had a few warmer days, around 55 F, which are more typical than the "real" winter we have had so far.  Busy with work, and really busy with my son's school work leading up to the end of the semester, but I'm still finding time for my 2x2 game with my Brothers.

In fact it sounds like something I'd LOVE to be a part of. But sadly I'm not employed there so I can't. 6 months from now and Simon will be back here telling us that the IT department is moving to the third floor instead.

Martin, how long is your obligation with your "current employer?"  Do you expect to extend and make it a career?

I'd like to extend, the paperwork is in but in all honesty I have no idea. Two years left at the moment, so I'm either in or I'm starting my resettlement courses before the year is out. I'm expecting the worst, civvy street is probably calling so I'll be starting to ask around a few places.

How many years total service will you have after the two years you have left? I did 10 years, and if it had been even 6 months longer, I would likely have stayed for my 20 to get a pension. Turns out I made a very good choice. The job marked in '97 was very hot and I already accepted a position with my current employer a full 5 months before my service was up.

I hope your options are as good 2 years from now, no matter which direction you take!
