That (mostly) still applies. That's why we go to Denmark, to keep the liquor tab from getting to large

Why is their booze cheaper?

I had never heard the word "metrosexual", so I had to look it up. Problem is, I still don't get what it implies and if we are supposed to get offended?

Edited: Grammar.

Nah. Its just a tacit admission that they dont know how to dress themselves.

Agree. The naval battles in Empire are stunnigly beautiful. Totally skewed tactics though. The only thing you have to do is to manuever yourself so you have a downwind (!) position, wait for the opposing side to come after you with full sails, shoot away their rigging and masts with chain shot, and then capture the prizes.

Let's be honest here. None of those games are really what one would call "difficult".

Its like you said before, you have to make your own difficulty levels. Like in Rome, I would try to limit myself to one "actual" army per continent. There were city garrisons as well, of course, but those were limited to certain types of units.

In M2, I usually only needed one army (aka heavy cav ). BTW, playing as the Egyptians is fun. All of europe on one side and the mongoloids on the other.

I'm not that comfortable with Empires yet.

Yeah, because those little pink umbrella drinks are soooo expensive...

OK, let me rephrase my previous question. Why are the pink umbrella drinks cheaper in Denmark?

Which, of course - as you point out - is the exact opposite of what the tactics were during the age of sail. No decent commander with the weather gauge (i.e., with his ships upwind of the enemy force) would sail directly into the fire of his enemy.

Erm....that's exactly what Nelson did at Trafalgar.

Somewhere outside our universe, one of the two 'children' who was playing, quit over the borked Trafalgar result. The other child forgot to turn off the game, and here we are!

I was reading a book that contained excerpts of his correspondence with Ushakov recently. The guy was an ass.
