So what did happen with the resupply effort?

Not what I needed...

I noted this turn the emily sqn which operated off Hilo used bombs instead of torps...only Lahani has torpedos..I wonder if the japs are out of supply on all his islands except Lahani?

Arleigh Burke Flottilla is now in action around Hawaii. All jap bases are being shelled every night w/ different DD combos. Reload in daylight at Pearl as Jap naval air is almost non existant.

PRU Mitchell recon of Singers notes absence of KB CVs.

Mini KB w/ trans sitting on Umnak, probably picking up 3 division from a zero port. hehehe Cant bomb them because the KB CAP is too thick....

I really enjoyed hitting Pearl while FatR was busy in NorPac.

FatR has ordered the sallies to bomb the airfield which gives my DDs free daylight movement...his skip bombing works on slow ships but the DDs seem to be able to avoid being hit by torps and skip bombing...so the question is can I shell him out of supply before he bombs pearl out of supply?

This happens when you fall below the magic 2x supply requirements. He may already known about it and has more on the way. Having a PBY squadron or two at Pearl should help find the transports.

I noticed the RVF sqn from the copahee rebased w/ a reduced sqn to pearl and then it seemd one of the wildcat sqns did an auto refill of planes w/o my particpation.... Man, what a gut fight.
I will lose the Tennesee. No more big boys, so will the betties attack my DDs next??

10-4-42:
Looks like the japs are going to Kurules w/ 3 divisions.  Thought they might go back to pearl.

10-3-42: from last turn:
I flew the Andaman air before the Mini KB arrived ...I lost about 40 planes and IJ lost about 30 planes...Then this turn I flipped all the fighters to night cap...KB showed up next to PB and Capped the hex when my heavies flew in this turn and I did take losses from my LBA heavy fleet.

So this is a one turn old SP.

And this is the last ground attack on Port Blair...note the Mini KB coming up from the south. Looks like I will have to place a 4th division into PB to hold it...

Big stacks need a great deal of supply. One way to deal with them is to attack their supply lines.

Lost Port Blair today...Everyone surrendered and did not retreat into the adjacent Hex.

I am concerned about the IJAAF now lose on the rest of the pacific.

I did pull alot of planes back from the front in Burma and little andaman to see the effect.

lahani is at 30% damage,,,but now for how long.

I am looking for an old AAR w/ a similar situation where the allies have lost alot of CVs for my review.

Jap forces have resupplied Lahani and air reinforcements have arrived to restart the reduction of the pearl defense.
Looks like four cruisers and a bunch of DDs have permanat station in the Hawaiian chain.

Because of the other game I play as japan one thing I am sure of is japan is on a tight fuel situation...It took FatR 2 weeks to redeploy to reestablish control of Hawaii.  He will have the same situation in other areas....

Sopac is a stalmate, but that could change if the japs want to burn more fuel...but I would bet my Hawaii operation caused the japs to burn off all centpac fuel reserves.

i need to increase the tempo of jabbing naval operations to cause the enemy to react and burn large fuel reserves.

China seems to be a holding position for Japan not sure why....japan has a large army across the river near Changsha. In the north my encirclement of Sian is almost complete. IJA tried to push me off the SW hex below Sian but failed....I bet he is starting to have a supply problem.

Note the triangle defense i am installing on the singer to PA rail line just north of Kweilin. Triple defensive terrain....I am sure FatR would love to open this rail line...I did it im my other game and the supply starts to flow all over the place.

As noted in this photo I need the IJA to help me just a little bit more by advancing futher north of Swebo....Note my Indian divisions in the jungle to the west waiting for orders to start moving....

Allies at swebo roughly 3 brigades in retreat to the jungle. Pushed out by 2nd armored division and an infantry division. It has been a slow go to get units in to position around Burma.

Japs crossed the river on Oct18th..and took some major damage...In my return move I air dropped a company of marine Paratroops on the hex and ordered an Allied counter attack..
Waiting for the results....I figure I will lose the hex if I dont counterattack so might as well go for broke..Not sure of what the effect will be on the ground...

I recognize the "gamey" smelling nature of this move....I can see the logic of paras destroying the support trains and disrupting the defense. So I wonder what will be FatR response...in a no rules game.

Be careful - you had a disruption minus already. Likely the attack increased your troops disruption levels, which will make for a (potentially much) greater negative the next time.

You are correct and I did get quashed on the next turn...horribly, but I did alot of damage to the main IJA army.

I wanted to see the IJN response so here we are...My CA TF was spotted on the 25th.

Also today we had a large air battle over Chittagong.  Losses roughly one to one...I know FatR will make adjustments in his battle plan to beat me....as he is more experienced at manipulating the air and sea battles into his favor

So I will change my defensive set.

FatR has heavy recon at Chittagong and Calcutta over the past week....With this fighter seep I wonder if he is on the move again...
IJN mini KB seen in Port Blair hex on the 25th....I dont understand why the carriers would be sitting at PB.  Also saw a DD flotilla parked at Rangoon 2 turns ago.

With the recon effort and naval activity I am concerned about a chitagong landing....remember my allied signet reported the 25th IJA division in prep for chittagong...
