Hi all, quote:
ORIGINAL: DivePac88 Just heard that a friend that I made when I was in hospital has pasted away. He was a real nice old guy, and we did a lot of talking, as you can when your both stuck in hospital. He had fallen off his back porch, and badly broken his arm. He had been in good health for a seventy year old before the fall. Then he had a mild heart attack on the way to hospital, then kidney and liver problems in hospital. But all he wanted was to get home, and wasn't telling the Doctors everything. His last test to get home was to walk up ten stairs, and he saved up a weeks worth of painkillers so he could do it. After he passed the test, he waited for his medical team to leave, then he passed-out. I now wonder if I should of reported what I knew to the medical staff. But he had made promise not to, and I thought that was more important. Well I know he died where he wanted to be, and maybe that was also the right thing too. Rest in peace my Friend. Sorry to hear Des... Leo "Apollo11"
