[ed] Shoot. No. Allowances shouldn't be made. Ike is a piece of brown and should be wiped up like you do to your doggie. I'll do everything I can to remove this piece of feces from these forums, now and forever. Ike, be ware. Be very ware.

I don´t quite know what to say JWE. Do you listen to what you say? Honestly, you sound like a raging drunk to me. Just my opinion.

Who says

quote:

JWE: I could take care of most of you without even going into the closet.

You´re placing the home on the internet and saying you can fight most the forum. But some you need to go to the closet. A weapon? What kind of person would post such a thing? I do not know. A drunk or someone unstable. I can´t think of any other type.

I don´t often join with Terminus but I´m going to in this. I join him in his expression of disbelief at some of the outrageous comments being made. Mynok has a bullet for my noggin because the world would be better off without ¨my type¨ and you JWE are challenging the forum to a fight.

How ugly a place!!

To my fellow player Japan. I am sorry they ran you away. I understand why. You sound like a courageous humanitarian man. Not all the brave carry a gun. No matter where you are my gaming brother JAPAN! A land mine trail carrying food to a jungle village or crossing a heated desert in Africa with water to the thirsty. Maybe A ship at sea sailing into a strong storm on a mission to help others.

My gaming brother Japn, I salute you here and now from ¨The Thread¨ The very belly of the monster and in much heated opposition.

(Salute)

I hope one day you see these kind words my brother.

I have no reason to be ware JWE. Erik you have no reason to ban. This forum is not my place and I do not return. But I leave defiantly, like Captain of Yamamoto standing proudly on the bridge of sinking Yamato.

A good day to all and to all a good night.

BTW. I´m not Japan, Helmut or anyone else. I have never had another Matrix account.

Bye.

Ike99... You are a classic example of somebody who has learnt to spell, and construct whole sentences. But it would appear that you still need to learn what words mean, and are used for. That hopefully that will come to you later in life, when you grow up.

I LURVE grilled corn on the cob.

Here's a recipe I picked when I was a semi-beach bum on the California beaches. Take corn with the husk still on, soak in salted water for a couple of hours, then put directly on the grill. No aluminum foil or anything. Water in the husk steams the corn and when it dries out it gets little grilled spots. Smells like grass when it's cooking and tastes like heaven - and summer in heaven to boot.

When done the husk comes right off, but becareful. Hot!

What a long day. Smoked a pork shoulder and made some baked beans...sort of a ritual here for Memorial Day now. You missed some good stuff, USS. Sorry our attempted get together didn't work out.

Did some repotting of plants I've started for my deer fodder..erm garden....Bloody hot and I'm still sweating like a JFB in '44. Had to mow as well with the unwelcome surprise of an irate cicada buzzing me for disturbing whatever it was it was doing. Those things are louder than my mower...and it was exactly one of them.

I believe it is time for a nice, cold G&T.

Lot of things you don't understand little ike. As a wise man once said you probably couldn't find your arse if your tongue was glued to it. But that's neither here nor there.

Understand you are leaving us. Anything we can do to expedite your departure? Or make it more permanent?

Buck

Um...Buck? Can you give us a little bit more information about what you mean? I haven't seen any rants lately that were not originated from or directed at Japan and Ike.

If you're referring to THE THREAD!!! as "some sort of hollowed sacred ground", that's far from the case. Everyone who does not take themselves too seriously are very welcome here. This is our retreat to get away from "serious." Pull up a chair, grab a cold one out of the cooler, and we'll toss another burger on the Memorial Day cookout grill for 'ya.

I quite possibly misinterpreted the series of rtrapasso's one line posts above, if so I'm sorry.

Thank you for your invite.

Buck

Gotcha! He was performing a standing duty when we near the end of a new page by filling it up and starting the new page with the correct subject line, instead of leaving it open for some "tricksy" Brothers who like to deface the subject line.

Not exactly Buck but close. There is a small number who enjoy leaving one line insults to other forum members. Including to those they don´t even know like you have recently experienced. You are just the latest person to be made unwelcome here by these people in an ever growing list.

They are excusing themselves to you now because It happened to me recently and I didn´t like it too much. They´re a little unsure of themselves at present. So yes, your initial impression is correct.

Accept their insincere excuses and submit to their strange hierarchy in a submissive position and you too can leave insulting one line insults to other forum members too. You will be comforted in knowing you have the protection of ¨THE GROUP¨ in ¨THE THREAD¨.

quote:

ORIGINAL: USS America Um...Buck? Can you give us a little bit more information about what you mean? I haven't seen any rants lately that were not originated from or directed at Japan and Ike.

I was curious USS America so I search ¨Japan¨ His last login was almost two years ago. I thought he must have really said something to make you angry. I briefly searched through his post and found nothing. His last post was,

quote:

ORIGINAL Japan: In 1999 I was part of the KFOR force who entered Yugoslavia, in 2003 I spent 6 months of my life working for UNICEF with Civilian Aid, I also visited Grozny 2 week's in 2004, and in 2006 I spent 4 months of my life again doing a similar thing. I did plan to join a UNICEF mission to Eritrea during 2009, but have canceled it, I might do it during 2010 we will see, I don't know.

I Apology for the "negative" debate I might have caused here on your forum, and I see my involvement in it as my own weakness, and for that I am sorry. I will try to refrain from replaying to this type of posts in the future.

I will accept what he says is true. Seems like an outstanding person. I´m really confused with what he did that offended you so much to be speaking against him almost 2 years later? The United Nations Children's Fund was not ¨macho¨ enough organization to meet your standards?

He may be in some African civil war country right now risking his life between guerilla and government soldiers helping to feed a village. Who is to know? Now I know that´s not as tough as having a picture of an aircraft carrier with warplanes posting on a forum 20 times a day but you can think to excuse him a little. Maybe?

Ike, don't you know that crack kills?

You have no idea what you're talking about, "Ike99".

You´re right Terminus I don´t. I´m am just accepting what Japan said. I do like what he said though.

quote:

I have no reason to defend him but in my opinion this was very high class. I am going to do the same. I do ask that ¨some¨ posters here look at the recent reaction from Buck Beach. Maybe you need to be a little less provacative to people.

Have a nice day.

Cheers.

Japan's last post as Japan was two years ago. He masqurades as other people. Your "style" of posting is similar to his. Ergo, it was assumed that you were him. Not unreasonable , in view of his very many alter egos that he has adopted since his expulsion.

No one objects to you or Buck or anyone else posting here. Or ever had. All that the "Threadsters" request and require is that "you play nice". That's it, that's all, and that the way it's always been.

When someone who comes in and acts agressively, confrontationally, or in general not in a manner considered to be normal, the frequent posters on this thread, like residents of any well ordered neighborhood, arrise , band together and defensively challenge the "intruder" (for lack of a better word). What's so hard to understand about human psychology at it's absolute most basic roots?

Agression ALWAYS begets agression. So if someone "barks" at you, it's always a good idea to look back at what you've said, and see if YOU were the one who gave offense. If not, it never hurts to act on the principal that it MIGHT have been you, (however misintended). A humble person is generally welcome anywhere. In real life . Or Cyberspace.

One more bit of advice.....when giving an apology , give it and stop. Don't say anything else. Walk away. Too many people say "I'm sorry", then proceed to destroy any benefit by adding something like ,"however if you hadn't......". Like I said before , a humble man is welcome anywhere.

So why not try again? Forget all previously said and done, and make a fresh start, turn the other cheek and go forth.

Ahh, Saint Stephen.

You do earn brownie points for having good intentions, my man!
