And invading America in Panzer Corps. And sinking merchant ships in Steel Wolves.

Good!

BTW, how is Steel Wolves going? Still playing 1st campaign?

RGR!

BTW, did you win the previous 3 campaigns?

Also if you report VASSAL bug - will they / can they fix it (i.e. do they fix bugs and upgrade the software)?

And has an unforgivably stupid name.

And is horridly (vomitously) impractical, too. This is supposed to be a yacht?? Maybe for rich gunrunners or people with a higher testosterone count than their IQ. A yacht is grandiloquently impractical, but grand, alluring, enveloping, a sensual assault on the senses, a superior example of line and proportion, an environment that invites and satisfies.

This Wallyworld piece of $hit is nothing more than some jerk pimple wanting a boat that looks stealthy. Anybody who has a real yacht won't even give that piece of garbage a second glance. Some might divert a couple degrees to urinate on it, if it was anchored inshore on the way to the beach, but most would just ignore it and anybody who was on it.

Utterly ugly doesn't even come close.

Tell us how you really feel , John!

Obviously this doesn't appeal to the forum's astetics (or mine---no sails). When I 1st looked at the photo, before reading the write up, I assumed it was some sort of thechnology demonstrator. (Like the Seawraith, or the USS Sea Shadow).

It does prove the adage about having Too much money!

How do I really feel ? I'd center punch and sink the puke if I could.

A yacht IS aesthetics. That piece of $hit is a nightmare.

Its horrible using the word yacht with that boat. I remember on our outbound trip from the med, we have 2 yachts steaming with us through the straights. They had to be around 200ft in length. One of them had a helo pad aft. Those were yachts ;) It was like John said, they were appealing to the eye and just plain elegant to look at. Then again when we pulled into Monaco you should have seen the yachts at anchor there

I think if we chip in a few dollars each we could be cruisin' the med boys ;)

Hi Leo - yes I have been keeping a close eye on this as you can imagine. I have seen a copy of Modric's transfer request too which contains a string of grievances and which I detail below:

No like Chicken badge
No like threaten Luka
No like wages
No like little stadium
No like you break gentlemen agreement
No like share room with monkey
No like play football Thursdays so miss Eastenders
No like play with tall circus man
No like play with rush goalie
No understand glory glory Hotspur song
No understand the word trffic
Now must release Luka - I am peacock let me fly

Thank you very I leave now

L Modric

In all seriousness, and being practical, I think that everyone has a price, and if you give me £40m or £30m + a half decent replacement, then I would sell .

That said, having a) signed a six year deal only last year b) having been a big part of the team that failed to get into the Champions League this season, and c) bearing in mind Tottenham put their money where their mouth is and signed you, when the likes of Arsenal thought you were too small to make it in the Premisership, I am inclined to say - stuff it, show some bloody loyalty and gratitude and give us a couple more years otherwise you can rot in the reserves until you are 30......

At the risk of incurring the wrath of the Thread Branch of the Tottenham Hotspurts Fanclub (TTHFC?)...

Why do football supporters expect a player to show 'loyalty' to their team?  How many Spurs (or other teams) players started their career at that club?  The vast majority of players have already turned their back on one team to join their current employers, so why is everyone surprised when they express a desire to do it again?  To most players the team is just an employer like any other, although they're paying them excessive amounts of cash to play sports.  Tesco aren't going to be upset when their shelf-stacker moves on to another employer, you wouldn't expect to have to stay with your current employer if something better came up with a different company.  Not sure why sportsmen are held to a different level of commitment than the rest of us, especially when that same team will quite happily give said player a kick out of the door should a better alternative turn up.  Transferring (pun intended!) the situation across, would you turn down a move to another company in the same field as your employer if they offered more money and/or better career prospects?

Maybe I've got low standards from following such a **** team around the lower reaches of the league, but I don't expect any loyalty from any players.  Not even the ones who start at a team as a youth player.  From a recent example of an ex-Spurs player, why should someone from Yeovil who played for Lincoln care that Notts County are a rival?  He's not from round there, the rivalries aren't his...  Why should a player from Croatia care that Chelsea are a local rival of Spurs?

Just my 2p worth, right or wrong.  Just because we invest our time etc in a team doesn't mean that the players should have to.  As long as they work as well as they can whilst they're there I'll be happy (I'm looking at you Tony Battersby, you useless *******).  If they want to leave then good luck to you.

You will incur no wrath from me for that. Quite simply I expect no loyalty or gratitude from any player - which is why my first comment expressed my true feelings; every player has a price.

My second comment just betrayed a growing frustration with massively overpaid footballers generally...... but it is hardly a new situation.
