Yes. It is. A lot of graphics design work is being done. There is only a few people doing it, so it may take a little longer.

I recently discovered and bought this game, and immediately fell in love with it.

I check this forum almost every day to read the old threads and learn more about the game mechanism etc.
Many thanks to Prinz Heinrich, Sarge, Uffz, Magnus and others for the mods and new scenarios!

I have some modding experience myself (a Napoleonic mod for Age of Rifles, many new icons for Panzer General II/Open General) and did my first small HnM mod some days ago, a new church which replaces the strange-looking church filed under 'buildings' in the editor (in fact it's the 'compound' church without the walls). In a few days I'll post it in the Mods section. I also have some sound files I could share.

(Played some smaller scenarios - Asch, Hoyerswerda, Hennersdorf etc. - to get used to the game features, will now try my luck with a more complex one - Reichenberg ...)

Glad to see a new player, welcome to the (small) HnM community. :)

The AI unfortunately performs very poorly in large and open scenarios - it's decent in the smaller attack/defend setpieces, but anything with a lot of options will ruthlessly expose its limitations. PBEM is there to remedy that though, if you have the time (and patience) for it.

Thanks, folks!

I'll think about joining the league (but: where/how?) after getting more used to the game.

Yes, I also discovered some weaknesses of the AI, especially the 'suicidal' arty - is it possible to prevent the artillery's movement by just allowing it to be 'unlimbered'?

Yea, PBEM is the best way to use this game. There is some balanced scenario best for PBEM. For League I create separate, individual for each battles with units and nationalities choosen by players.

Thanks for all the hard work, PrinzHenrich! All of your scenarios I played so far were very well made and entertaining. Just finished Reichenberg - played the Prussians (had to change the settings of the Austrian units a bit so that they don't leave their fortifications) and won.

(Although I caused a terrible massacre of the cavalry on the right flank. Wiped out the Austrian horsies but lost about 80 % of my own ... Just have to learn to use those guys more reasonable. )

Hi, i bougth this game and its really great, sad to see not many people active here anymore. But its a problem from which many great roundbased games suffer.
I m sure i will enjoy it for long time like my faforit game "PEOPLE GENERAL ".
