But consider that there are a number of factors that influence the effective outcome of your orders (Leader decisions, dice and roll, morale checks, weather, etc etc). In this game you aren't "God". You cannot simply command and expect that everyone does what you have ordered. You are like Nimitz...you give your orders but then you have to rely on the subordinates you have chosen to accomplish your orders...and they are men...and like every men, they do mistakes So you may order to a task force to bomb the base X...rush at max speed, arrive and bomb at night, and then get back so that you are far away from enemy LBAs when the sun comes up... These are the orders...but in war many things can go wrong (fuel, mechanical problems, etc etc) or simply the leader you chose was too aggressive and he swicthed the mission to surface combat cause his radars have identified an enemy SCTF and he goes engaging it... you never know...
