I also hve a new favourite news website..

http://www.newzimbabwe.com/

Excellent website, Dix. Thanks for sharing.

I particularly like the "Economy poised for 9% growth" sidebar. That's swell. Of course, inflation is up in the 20,000% range still. I wonder if that factored into their economic growth estimates...

Yeah. Starbuck's carp would not taste good at all. Now, their halibut coffee on the other hand...

"Mmmm...that's good bass!"

A faber is when one person posts for an entire page. Rather difficult to do nowadays.

Thank you Mike, looks like it doesn't stop people trying, and an amiable coal though I would say.

Correct. It is supposed to be called a horribly botched egg. The proper fried egg is NEVER turned over. Or as we call it down here, sunny side up.

Tempted to go for the Faber.

That was a pretty poor attempt

If you did a Faber like this (http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2405660&mpage=15&key=) I'd be a lot more impressed...

The fact that it's fried is what makes it a fried egg. One side or both, its fried. And woe betide anyone who gives me an egg without a runny yolk

Fried eggs are not flipped. Period. Those flipped abominations are something other entirely. And some evil spawn actually bust the yolk once they put it in the pan. Oh the chickanity!

What on earth will you use your biscuit for if the yolk isn't runny? And a biscuit is this:

Your glass is half empty then?

If the glass is made in Zimbabwe and somehow affiliated with their economic health, the glass is 90% empty.

Finally you speak some sense, man. One's got to have something to sop up with toasts or biscuit or whatever bread-related carbohydrate source of choice one has.

I must say that it's been some time since I've had a good soft-boiled egg...have to look into that soon...

Haven't seen Capt Skillet around in a long time but I wanted to congratulate his LSU Tigers on finishing their first undefeated regular season. I fear that my Bulldogs are in for a rough time in the SEC Championship Game next Saturday...

Good morning THREAD dudes...

Taking my dad to see the Golden Gophers (University of Minnesota) have their heads pounded in by Illinois today. Forecast is warmer than I would have expected for an outdoor game this time of year. High of 47F. Of course, we will have a 'winter mix' of precipitation (read: sleet, rain, snow mixture) to contend with throughout the game.

Yep, that's a cookie. Biscuits is what holds the gravy.

It's good; not AE good, but good. Worth the reduced price.
