Also, the whole "The Market Will Regulate Itself" is a logical fallacy, because the only limit to the market would be human greed, which is limitless.

There are no 'markets' that are solely policed / regulated by themselves. All markets have regulatory oversight of some capacity or another-at least all markets worthy of the name. Thus, the 'market will regulate itself' is a logical fallacy not solely because of the depths of human greed, but because no unregulated markets exist. Period. This is the main logical fallacy of that statement-presupposing the existence of something that does not exist.

You're confusing "does not exist" with "can't exist". The US financial sector has so many pig lobbyists with their snouts so far up Congress' ass that the US market is essentially "non-regulated".

Vulgarly phrased nonsense. I suggest we leave this here, Kristian, lest we politicize the THREAD further.

He's doing his civic duty, and dangling the (slightly) damaged dregs of deserving perps over fire-ant hills, somewhere in the wilderland.

Hi all,

General elections (for the parliament) here on Sunday... today, thank God , the media torture stops (no more advertising allowed after today)...

Leo "Apollo11"

Sadly, we're just getting warmed up for another year full of political advertising.

Joy...

Thank THREAD for DVR FF controls!

MAN! I am telling you what! I can't watch a hockey game on TV live anymore. Even if I'm home and ready to watch, I'll DVR it and then start playing it back about 45 minutes after it starts. Then, I FF through all the commercials and the intermissions and finish about the same time as the live game.

I can't go back!

I sure enjoyed watching the playoff bound Seahawks demolish the Eagles.

Please feel free to think what ever you like, but the only proper subject line for THE THREAD!!! is all capitals, with 3 exclamation points.

I must have missed that game last night. The game that I watched was the one involving the 'going nowhere fast' Seahawks demolishing the Eagles.

Woof ! Chicken sandwiches from a stewing hen. Ouch !

Ok, doing a paella. Got the safron rice and the shrimp and sausage stuff and the green and red peppers.

But, anybody got a take on putting peas into it?

I have, works great. Just don't overcook those. I generally add items like this later as they cook much faster than others.
