After a slow start for the week. I'm getting in some good hours today and tomorrow. After leaving yesterday at around 2:00 I did get in three turns yesterday. It is a good thing to have so many hobbies as I cannot remember the last time I was bored or feeling down. I gripe a lot. But I'm never down.

On the way home I stopped in at Widman's Candy Shop to drop off some boxes from the chocolates we had picked up earlier. I spoke with my old classmate. We chatted about his dad's days on the USS Bunkerhill. I told him he should sit down and read the book he tried to give his dad, Dangers Hours. His dad didn't want the book. He was there. If you guys ever get a chance, try and order some chippers. They're great. Chocolate covered potato chips.

and in your neck of the woods....the guys at ConAgra and ADM Milling in Omaha.. beautiful town btw

Damnit, nevermind that is Steve that is in Bellevue...

There is a small feedlot in Richardton... not really that close to you though.. other side of the state.

...and like Kansas. North Dakota has the only other state owned mill. And we're the only state with a state owned bank. Ties into the mill.

I'm only recently coming around to rooting for the Twins, in spite of being here for 10 years now. I'm ordinarily an Oakland A's fan. We've been stinkin' up the joint in all categories (other than pitching) for some time. The only good acquisition (swinging a bat) we have had in the past 8 years or so was The Big Hurt. He was single handedly responsible (along with good pitching, of course) for our playoff run in 2007. Otherwise, it's been one disappointing season after another.
