Those big infusions of reinforcements has slowed to a trickle. No more people are coming, practically. That means I'll have to fight with
what I have right now. Or save up enough AP's to buy some more. I'm not so sure I need any more divisions right now, I just need the
divisions I have to plump up, increase in their CV's and actually be able to hold their ground.

It looks like this spring ( well, it's March now ) and summer are going to be more pulling back slowly and giving up ground. I've been
railing industrial stuff out of potentially threatened areas so I'm getting ready to have to pull back. I may even lose Moscow this year.

This should be the T39 Axis moves: I say should be because I haven't seen it yet either:

This should be the T39 end of turn counts. I did some attacking, bombing of ground units, I don't remember doing an air base strike.

It's beginning to look like Moscow might be Elmer's next target. Lots of armour stacked up behind the lines and more units than the
Axis owns are there. I'm thinking this is going to be 1942's major battle. I'd better get some more defensive lines started right now.

You can afford to have HQs another hex or two farther back; you don't want them to be a victim of a bump and run.

Is it April yet?  You should be pulling together tank brigades.

It's April 23, 1942 and yes I have the tank brigades all segregated and ready to create tank Corps. Now all I need are the AP's. I'm down to my last 183 of them. And I'm thinking some of that might be needed to replenish the SU's of the HQ's. Every turn some of the SU's
are converted to rifle squads and the system doesn't say which ones were converted so I have to look at each of the HQ's in turn to see
what's missing and buy it. The Light Rocket SU is very popular for conversion. I'm making Cav Corps too. I already have about 4 of them.

The AI is launching about two or three attacks each turn and not much damage is being done right now. Maybe that's because of the bad weather (mud ) and part of it might be that the AI isn't ready yet. He probably needs to transfer some tanks to the right area first. I've lost track of the tanks that don't show up on the front line. I have no good idea where they might be. I found a large mound of units opposite Moscow but it seems to have dissappated somewhat in later turns.

So the long story made short is that the AI is launching some probing attacks but nothing major yet. I've got my fingers and toes crossed.

I have moved the VVS type bases closer to the middle of the map and it looks like, with about 7 partisan supply flights each turn, I'm
geting some partisan activity near Kiev as well as other parts of the map.

EDIT: I sometimes wonder how efficient the AI is in tracking down partisans. Is there any way to find out?

This is the T47 beginning of turn counts. There were more Axis attacks this turn than previous turns. Maybe the Spring Offensive is
on finally.
