Grollub-

Everytime you post goodnight, it is motivation for me to finish up the next hour or so, so I can go home!! I know it is about that time.

Glad that I can motivate someone

It also puts some pressure on to me to keep a fairly regular bedtime.

Local thrift store.... best place on earth to buy clothing...

Yellow tag/brown paper bag sales.....

I just bought 4 pairs of jeans and 11 shirts for $2.50 yesterday... and another bag of 5 shoes for Matt... another $2.50... whatever fits in a large paper bag is $2.50 total... I am not ashamed at all to shop there... all of that would probably cost ~$4-500 brand new....I spend $5

Now, I would perfer to buy newer shoes for my kids the older they get when they don't go through growth spurts as much....

Whenever I am asked why I joined the RAF:

To learn a trade, to see the world and visit places most people never go to, sports and adventure training and to serve my country. All that, and free shoes.

This is why I am not allowed to talk to the kind of people who write newspaper or magazine articles

Gotta hit the trift store here. I need a couple pairs of fatigue pants. They're great of golfing, bike riding, fishing, etc. Very comfortable.

Fatigues for cycling? The seams are in the wrong place and they get caught up in the chain too easily. There is a reason that cycling clothes are designed the way they are (and it ain't for looks!).

Fatigues for cycling?

Maybe he meant custom-fitting spandex fatigues?

Although the gentleman second from the right appears comfortable in his fatigues. Perhaps this is the fit you strive for?

Not on Ray Richards. The Narrow fairways makes it combat golf.

it's a buddy of mine from our golf club...the poor man is about to enter the wonderful world of marriage mark one...if and when the next one rolls around, the bachelor party will be a few guys for poker at someone's house with a stag film and the wedding "ceremony" will be down at the county clerk's office...but this one is full on bach party in vegas followed by a hawaii wedding...yeehaw!

the initial head count is 23...with that many opportunities for hijinx, my money is on an incident of some sort - hopefully of the benign flavor...

Naww, man, fatigues and jeans have this huge lump in the seam right in the center of the crotch - at a point thast causes numbness when you are sitting on the saddle. That is a major reason I only wear cycling specific pants - because when you are on your bike for several hours at a time that numbness can develop into a problem.

I've never been a slave to fashions or trends. Only to what is pacticle and versitile. No helmets or cycling gear. I see those people and I can only chuckle. And how much money did you put down for all that junk? Shake my head, and chuckle again. The same pair of fatigues go a long way in cooler weather. Cycling, golfing, hunting, fishing, yard work, etc. And only for a couple of bucks.
