...now that i've attracted Rader's attention at Hachinoe...(he reinforced with a HUGE AA force and lots of CD guns after the first landings)...i'll try my luck and land the second wave at Aikita, while a blocking force composed of 3 reinforced divisions will land at Aomori (if you look at the road and railroad system you'll understand why i needed this blocking force).

My bombers will hit Aikita, while 3000 fighters will LRCAP over my fleet....if my calculations are right...Rader's combined fleet should be waiting at Tokyo for my second wave...right at the other side of Japan...

Finger crossed

GJ - How well prepped are your second wave and blocking forces for their intended destinations?

4 USMC Divisions + 2 Full Marines Regiments
5 US Divisions
Several Tank units and artillery

Should be stronger than the first wave...something around 7k AVs

The third wave is in reserve for the moment...mainly it is composed of several indipendent regiments and Bdes...but would like to keep them as a mobile reserve for the moment

I your plan. Particularly because it is on the other side of the HI. If Rader was going to spring an IJN trap on your 2nd wave he is probably out of position (or maybe in lucky position if he was trying to sneak up). Another tought. You might want to switch you search arcs to 360 degrees. Your opponent is quite capable and they only thing that would surprise me is if he came at you in the direction you were expecting.

Ok...let's make it simple... step by step...was a long turn guys...

AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR Sep 12, 44

Jeffk...sorry but i cannot agree with your statement.
Hachinoe was the most obvious target and so it's normal to have it heavily guarded. However when i landed there there were 180k men at Ominato, 170k at Aomori and 220k at Aikita...plus more 200k in the area around Sendai...

Careful, there's another one out there with lots of numbers after his name!!

Great plan (maybe), and I hope you have a 3rd wave getting ready to reinforce SUCCESS, not failure.  Plus maybe be ready to pull out a losing battle from the beaches.

(See Tebow threw the first pass to get the draw, now for the pass to win the game, Its equally possible it'll be totally stuffed and intercepted.)

It took just over 20 hits using 1000 pounders from my SBDs to sink Yamato in mid-42, but the big boys do sink under too many 1000 lb bomb hits.

...after many attempts, this time the enemy raid (higher than the previous one) catches my CAP a bit out of position...and the enemy dive bombers managed to get through in good number.......

..........how will they perfomed after having passed through the Hell of my CAP?
