Ok...here it ends....

To my eyes it's clear that Rader ate the bait and thought my second wave was bound for Hachinoe...

Now the Combined fleet is halved in power and his LBA took a serious beating...

My losses are really acceptable...lost only 20 ships, 13 of them  xAKs loaded with supplies...nothing important

...wonder how many new aces i have today

And this is the final bombing of the day...we have 2000 AVs more than him at Aikita...should we try?

You don't really need an answer to that question in order to know what to do, do you?

Your blocking force seems quite weak. Hopefully it can hold out.

Can you show the air and shipping losses for the day ? Also, getting a second bridgehead, sinking important ships and shooting down enough planes for a medium sized airforce is not half bad for a single turn.

Ok now you have officially eviscerated his airforce, morale must be in the gutter and his torpedo and dive bombers are nowhere near early war standards even if they get through.
And the aircraft losses, good god! Even if he produces a ****load of them these battles put a strain on his airframes and pilots that he by no means can keep up with.

And a mighty dent to his cruiser and SC-Task forces

As long as you don´t impale yourself on his forts(and it doesn´t look like that if I look at the losses of your bombing of the beaches) and if there isnt is a really nasty surprise lurking, the north will probably be lost for Rader.

Great entertainment though.

And Hoooooooray for Stringbags!

Don't have the turn yet...so i cannot answer smeulders...

Dturtle...yes, but i need to decide if attack right now or wait a turn and plaster the base a bit more (and also wait for my divisions to unload completely...)

GJ is the Kongo a goner? I noticed it wasn't showing up in your attacks on the same fleet it was in the day before, or did I miss it?

The loss of cruisers should hurt him in addition to everything else.

Curious to see the airloss screen as well.

Wow, rader is in big doo-doo at Akaita unless he can somehow reinforce quickly.

Whatever happens on the ground, the Kaigun has been mauled.  That alone is worth whatever happens from this point forward.

You gotta be kidding! You've got to attack and now! (Unless your troops are badly disrupted by the landings). Time is everything. If rader doesn't timely reinforce, he loses this base and the war.

Still a couple of unknowns out there. Haven't seen his slow BB's, (Yamishiro, Fuso, Musi, Hyuga, Ise), didn't see many kamakazi's, and the KB is at large, although there can't be many pilots.
However, I think the IJN and his airforce have thrown their best punches, and have connected with noting but glancing blows. Weak ones at that. I think he does not have anything like today left in him in the air, or in the sea. It is up to the guys on land now. Well done sir

I bet an initial attack (if proceeded by mass airstrikes) is going to cause huge damage to his forces there.

Ok...attack now so...

John is right btw...Japanese combined fleet isn't destroyed yet...i just hope that what's left if somewhere on the sourthern coast...and the KB has been unseen for ages now...don't know...maybe he's ready to raid my communication lines...but i can lose a couple of convoys...i need to remained focused now!

You will need to look at your leaders and hope that the fix MichaelM did works or you will have to spend more PPs to make changes. If your troops and leaders are OK, then....CHARGE!!!

From a JFB perspective: Ugh. Remarkably light casualties coming ashore at Akita. Remarkably heavy A2A losses for him. I too wonder where the heck his Kamikazes are and why they haven't been enrolled in the fight yet.

Canoerebel is right. He's running out of time to employee EVERYTHING at his disposal.

Anyways, nice turn for you, Grey Joy.

How much is left to unload? Any more tanks or combat units? Maybe some big guns haven't come off the ships yet?

I would bet you'll need a couple of days to get right even though the CD guns weren't anywhere near as bad here. You'll still only probably get in one good one before the reinforcements start coming in.

Your pilots did pretty well, eh?

Just out of curiosity, what do you have on the way to the area from other regions? I know you've got some sneaky reinforcement divisions coming in from India or somewhere.

GJ- have you landed everything you plan on landing, minus a "floating" reserve?

A part from the fragments of two divisions, everything should be ashore by now (but i don't have the turn yet). If needed i have some more 5,000 AVs with the third waves but they aren't prepped for Aikita...so i'd like to avoid it...

And basically both my landings (Hachinoe and Aikita) were succesfull because of the surprise effect...now that the surprise is gone i don't know if it's wise to committ a third wave right now...

I'll try to use what i have ashore...the Amaori Corp should be able to resist with a favourable terrain and some air bombings if needed...

Tomorrow will try to attack at Aikita...will have 3 more unloading phases before the general attack...if i re-build the Amphib TF in the right way (placing all the APA/AKAs with the slow xAP) i should be able to get everything ashore before the ground combat phase...

Usual naval and air bombings will be ordered...

Let's just hope my generals are in place and that the distruption isn't too high (but it shouldn't considering how smooth the landings went)...

was wondering why Rader didn't place (as he's used to do) a strong LRCAP over his cruisers....very strange

He also said his cruisers weren't supposed to move in that way...they should have lingered out of range for the first day and then arrive at the night of the second day to run avhoc among my (gost) fleet...

As for hachinoe, i have 1 Army HQ, 1 Corp Hq and 1 Command HQ fully prepped for Aikita...Rader has more or less the very same disposition...so it will be close...gotta hurry up
