Perhaps the rocks were migratory.

It's the SGH! The poor rocks have a serious drug problem and need help!

I think my two favourite types of naval warfare are surface commerce raiding ("cruiser warfare") and coastal ops. They appeal to my sneaky bollocks gene.

I can understand that, I get great satisfaction from a couple CAs, CLs, and a handful of DDs hitting a allied resupply convoy just as they are unloading at a dot base to give the allied player more supply for his armor units trying to get into Prome. Results are 30+ points of VPs for very limited ammo expended and some increased nightime experience for my crews!

Also, good morning, and back to work for three days then off to another train show in Louisville, KY this time.

So, according to himself, the captain of the Costa Concordia is "a hero who saved hundreds, if not thousands, of lives".

According to everybody else, he's a miserable coward who was among the first to leave his ship, ignored an order from the Italian Coast Guard to return and take charge of the evacuation and left the scene in a taxi.

Can we just keel haul this asshat?

From what I've read, keel hauling sounds like the best option.

He left the scene in a taxi? This guy just gets better and better! Unless he pulled some old woman out of the cab and threw her on the pavement whilest getting in, can he be *any more* of a cad?

(Puts on a Texan drawl) "Shootin's too good for this varmint."

ETA: (still in Texan drawl): "Get a rope."

Off to Traffic Safety school for me... No turns tonight. That is what I get for going 70 in a 55 in front of a State Trooper. At least nothing will go on my record.

Unlike herpes-he won't be forever. He's an ill-advised pick or an awkward scramble / ACL injury away from being a Trivial Pursuit question.

A Trivial Pursuit question line is one of the best I have heard in a long time..

As Drew Carey would say... 1,000 points for Andre.

My last speeding ticket was quite awhile ago. Wrong side of the border heading home from Winnipeg. RCMP nailed me within sight of the border crossing.
1971 pick-up no kilometers on the dial. I was so close. $20.00 fine Canadian. Probably $17.00 U.S. I was oh so close to the border.

And then there are the speeding stories on Highway 2. Never got caught. Once I out ran the highway patrol to the main gate of the Air Force base. I noticed he had just missed his 1 mile median turn around. So I speeded up, got the east gate with my ID out trying to get waved through quicker. It worked. Juyst be on the safe side I left through the south gate since I was only dropping off documents and would only be on base for a few minutes. I think I doing 87 in a 60. Had some great classical chase music on the radio which made it kinda fun.
