You know, that's sad.

My daughter has decided to go to UCF next year. I guess one year only 60 miles from home was enough to teach her that there really isn't much difference between 60 miles and 1000 miles when you don't have a car. She also is really sick of snow.

Its a huge school. Most of the people I know who went there liked it. One of my best friends got his first engineering degree there (mechanical). He also has a BS and MS in electrical.

Little bit of snow overnight here... Doesn't look like there'll be more, but the temperature will stay below freezing for a few days, so the snow will remain.

It was -6 degrees Centigrade in the morning - now it is +3 degrees centigrade. Blue skies and sun - clear weather. No snow...

Good Friday morning all! It is Cloudy, 42F/6C. Looking for a cool dreary day, hoping things at work are better as this week has been very hectic. So much so, that I emailed my 1942 opponent my 1943 opponent's files last night! DOH!

Schanilec your menu sounds appetizing and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter

Last night I finished up a Pork recipe involving cubed pork tenderloin, dried prunes, carrot, chicken stock, garlic, brandy and thyme. Finished with some heavy cream, more brandy and some parsley. Rich but delicious.

We may need to exchange ideas.

A good simple pork chop recipe: Pork chops saurerkraut and a roaster. put in oven at 350 degrees for about an 1 1/2 hours and done.

ChezDaJez does that to me and Canoerebel on a regular basis. Is it possible that staring at a sonar screen for hours on end over several years can cause brain damage?

We're busier than usual for a Friday...a lot of grain moving out in the country for me for the next two or three months. BIG fertilizer season till April... so we're busy in the Wichita area, and Port of Catoosa OK area...

This weekend looks to be relaxed though...keeping my fingers crossed. All I have to do is paint the spare bedroom...pretty simple... a beer and my ipod.

How about in the Land of 9713 Lakes.

Had the Badgers hockey bus parked outside the office. They must have gone into L & M Meats. I hope they didn't clean out the Bohemian shorts and jaternice (Czech sausages). Them hockey players have pretty good sized appetites.

I haven't ice fished for a few years. Anyway this year I'm not to crazy about going out on the ice. It is just to dangerous with the weather we've been having this season. Just yesterday another person went through the ice. Again. Each week someone is busting through. And sadly some don't make it out. Both here and Minnesota. Chicker will back me up on that. Some Jumbo perch and walleye would nice. But I'll wait until spring.

I am a GIS analyst for Rutherford County, I work with Public Safety Agencies to provide data and maps for any situation they encounter or need further information on. I keep the AE Icon hidden, deeply, so know one knows it is there... It is work, after all.
