Turn 196 Overall The Axis does not fall back anywhere, nor do they try to break out their encircled units. Some fortified zones are left as speedbumps, but we simply smash them and advance anyway. All in all we perform 47 attacks, and score 8 held, 36 retreat and 3 surrender. Unfortunately most of the held results were made by armoured and mechanized troops, so our AFV loss is high, but that is also the case for the Axis; Axis : 120.000 troops and 426 AFVs USSR : 130.000 troops and 627 AFVs. Units 4 TACs were sent to the reserves. When mud arrives, all mobile forces will be pulled back somewhat to make sure they are at maximum strength when the weather clears up again. Our forces claim a growth of 44.000 troops this turn. (Again, this is not really a net growth for the overall size of our army anmore, but now a net growth amongst the remaining units). Units disbanded 2 rifle corps were disbanded this turn. Pools 135.000 workers arrive at the manpower pool, ending it at 63.841 (the reason for the increased number lately is the disbanding of units, not that we are starting to fill up our army). Vehicle pool : 233.853. Armaments pool : 978.451. Liberation We liberate Zaporozhye. Units destroyed The German 216th Infantry Division, 263rd Infantry Division, 8th Jager Division, 44th Fortified Zone, 120th Fortified Zone and the Rumanian 19th Rumanian Infantry Division were all destroyed this week. Weather The weather has changed from Blizzard to Snow. Not long begore the mud is here now. Partisans Once more no supply drops are made, but our guys still perform 7 sabotague missions this turn. We are left with 23 units on the map after 14 are chased away by the Axis.
