At times like these I really regret losing such a great mind like Gene Roddenberry. I know it's unavoidable but still, seeing this even now tells something about a man with a dream that is shared by many.....kinda like Elliot now btw.
That being said, I hold you responsible TJ for making me squeeze some episodes from TNG late night when I get a free moment.....you must "suffer" through the same to make it right

Data, if you have a bluray player, just wait for the season 1 Next Generation later in the year. I've got the sampler disc with Encounter at Farpoint, Sins of the Father and The Inner Light. It's an amazing job they've done.

Tophat, I think we're looking at a weekend release. I've still got a fair chunk of characters to get through, only a few hours work left. Thanks for your patience and everyone elses, you've really pushed me on to get this done.

And, of course, I can't wait to play it!

Ah, some extra security. Thanks Ed. We'll make sure Data doesn't make off with any more cargobay items.

Don't worry about extra security guys, this piece of news should keep me busy for quite some time. As usual with any Star Trek info, Igarpedia is taking the spot

No kidding:

I better put my best Jedi team to cover the next convoy...

I've run it through the universal translator... It says, 'My beard is awesome, give me more ale' !!???

Mr. Data. Trying to plant subliminal messages in your posts just isn't ethical.

A universal translator is hard enough for one planet but when romulans come into play.....
Take for example "'My beard is awesome, give me more ale" which translates into romulan to something like 'hveolhaonn htaodt'ia'rhoinnie aehjaeih ta'hwswai hwoimne'liu'

Now let's see your skills at work

I spent an hour or so revamping the messages graphics. They're a bit 'Starfleet' but much better than what we had before. All messages will now appear on these 'PADDS'.

Thanks all, I'd better point out, I didn't make the PADD graphic, just found it on google. I changed the text on it and put in the little 'Galactic News' logo.

Tophat, I've got things to do today. I'll try to get some done tonight, but might not be enough. Expect it in the next couple of days.

IGard,

Did you apply INDIVIDUAL values to each of these characters?
I intend to do that with my Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Mod, but... I think you MUST have more characters than I do...

I've got 243 character images now, and that might be the final number for the first release.

Some of those 243, however, are generic images of a character for that race. For example generic romulan_spy.png, generic fed_admiral.png.

So the total number of characters is.....

Actually I don't know. Roughly 1000.

EDIT: Did a quick estimate. Over 1200 anyway.

Hey IGard,

I just got the musical soundtrack to Yesterday's Enterprise...
It would be a cool fit to a mod or two of yours...

I am surprised how much I enjoy the music.
