Ogre Lands on Kickstarter! - 4/13/2012 10:02:28 AM

Status: offline 		Part nostalgia but also a great part wanting a this title again, I recently pledged for OGRE which will be released via the Kickstarter program. I had enjoyed this game when it first came out and am looking forward to the deluxe presentation being offered here. The game is not cheap but they are adding extras to it as the pledges continues to grow and will probably out perform D Day dice as the #1 funded game on Kickstarter. (D Day dice is a game I regret not pledging to when I had the chance, and so will not make the same mistake here!)

Seriously, I'm glad that stuff like this is kept alive. I hope all those that get it will try to bring some of the younger generations to the table.

I'd like to buy that OGRE 2012 t-shirt but I don't want anyone to think I support a certain candidate.

In case you did not see this in the FAQ:


Foreign Shipping - We WILL be offering foreign options, at least for Canada, Europe, and Australia. But we're warning you now: we’ve been looking very hard, and everything we find is expensive. You may get a better deal through your regular retailers.

I sent an email to Steve Jackson regarding this and recommended that they should open up a new pledge tier strictly for Canadian/Oversees customers which would include the shipping cost amount. He replied and stated that that was exactly what they were working on but want to get the lowest shipping cost possible. So keep an eye on the Kickstarter page and hopefully thay will come up with a Foriegn customers only pledge tier that might meet your needs.
