Hi,

(First I would like to excuse to Castor Troy becouse I save time and copy paste the condition + made some modification of his offer he wrote 23/4/2012 - becouse I found out that this is almost matching what I am looking for)

Thread title already tells it, I am looking for an opponent that matches these characteristics in subject. Looking for IJ opponent . I can make 1-2 turn/day if you supply me, so it should be not slow game and as it is going to be my only PBEM I don't want to have a slow game. You should be reliable and experienced, if you are well known on the forum that would be nice too, rather hard to judge somebody who's totally new to the forum. I personally spend 2 years in PBEM and I feel myself as experienced , agressive player. I did not write too much on forum but I follow it.

I want to play complete campaign scenario 1 or 2.

Settings:

Realism options:

FOW ON
advanced Weather ON
Allied damage control ON (or off if you want)
PDU ON
historical first turn OFF
Dec 7 surprise ON
reliable USN torps OFF
realistic R&D OFF
no unit withdrawels OFF
reinforcements VARIABLE +/- 60 days

Game options:

combat reports ON
auto sub ops OFF
TF move radius ON
plane move radius ON
facilities expand OFF
auto upgrade ships and airgroups OFF
air and ground replacements OFF
turn cycle 1 TURN

House rules:

no new Allied TFs on turn 1
only one Japanese aerial port strike on turn 1
no Allied strategic bombing of occupied Allied territory at any time, Allied strategic bombing only allowed on Japanese held territory of 12/7/41
no Japanese strat bombing in China
no oversizing Float Planes for training reasons ( not to increase FP with size 1-2 to 24 )
no Allied 4E bombers on naval attack below 10.000ft. Valid for Army 4Es, not valid for Allied NAVY heavy bombers at any time
as realistic R&D is turned OFF, no overabuse of this function. Means to not produce any aircraft earlier than 4-5 months of their normal arrival as it would be quite off to see Shidens or whatever super advanced ac a year earlier (or even earlier) and it has been proved already that R&D can go totally off in that respect. realistic R&D off so that the IJ can research ac they actually want to build when they are researched, not to speed up R&D
paying pp for restricted units crossing borders

If you think the hrs are biased to one side or the other, I am prepared to agreed different one. If you want to have more hr, fine with me. In general I am looking for a game that isn't aiming at totally exploiting every game feature/routine to it's max. There is an endless list of things that might be seen gamey, ppl should just go with a little common sense. Strategically, everything goes. I don't care if you attack India, Australia, US West Coast, Hawaii or whereever. But if you do, do it in a reasonable way. Example? Want to invade India and your next bigger base is Rangoon, doing your invasion at Karachi using the fantasy amphib bonus is bullocks. You want to take the whole sub continent with a single para unit? Bullocks. If you defeat me, I will applaud you.

Which brings me again to the request, I need a reliable opponent. If you are experienced, it should be easier to be reliable as that shouldn't lead to a crazy strategy and you should be used to PBEM anyway, something that experience is bringing along.

My HQ is in Mid-europe, same or common time zone preffered.

Bye

ALF
