It is the silhouette of the wings from above or below that does it for me as well.

We have red tail hawks that live right behind our house. When I see them fly they always remind me of the Spit with their broad, rounded end wings.

Well, ok, it happened to be on in the breakroom as I was getting coffee or lunch or something. I did watch enough to know they wore blue and yellow uniforms. Don't know which side was which color.
