The commentator has just said that Jordan Henderson is not everyone's idea o an international footballer.  Surely he isn't anybody's idea of an international footballer...

Warspite1

....or a footballer....

Oh and btw, the referee is clearly French

I'm glad that my earlier pessimism was misplaced ... and its a miraculous deux points pour moi.

So Back to Group A and we have first up, Greece vs Czech Rep. Dixie and Zeta have gone for a draw while everyone else has a Czech win.

As for Poland vs Russia, we have a draw according to Redcoat, and a Russian win for everyone else except warspite and british exil.....oh dear.....

Half time 2-0 to the Czechs and british exil is sitting on 2 points for a correct score.

So a Cech howler denies british exil a perfect score....and in the second match only Redcoat correctly guessed a draw AND a 1-1 draw as well! Those three points from this evening means Redcoat is our new leader!

This leaves the scores on the doors as:

Redcoat........8
Orm.............7
british exil....5
Dixie............5
rogo727.......5
Zeta 16........4
warspite1.....2

I'm sure I won't be leader for long. We still have some ways to go too. So far we've had 10 out of 24 group games. After tomorrow's games - Danmark v Portugal and Nederland v Deutschland - we'll be half way through the group games.

Well looks like (rightly) no one gave Denmark a cat in hell's chance - although no one got the correct score. It's 1 point all round.

This leaves the scores on the doors as:

Redcoat........9
Orm.............8
british exil....6
Dixie............6
rogo727.......6
Zeta 16........5
warspite1.....3

It is not looking good for the Dutch. Surely, they will now implode and start blaming each other for the bad results.

Interesting game tomorrow. Croatia v Spain. The European Championship is much more vicious in the early group stage than the world cup.

Normally, you lose the first two you are defo out. But because of other results, Holland CAN still go through. If Ronaldo carries on playing like a complete donkey - did you see that performance today? - then yes, Holland could well make it. If you don't believe me - then just look at my score in the predictions competition
