Actually $50 damage for my dogs is pretty trivial.

I know a guy who lives up in an exclusive area in Orange County. His lab got out and the neighbor called him to tell him the dog had "killed some of the fish" in his pond.

This was well within character for the dog so he says, "OK, send me the bill"

Next day there is a bill in his mailbox for $4800. It seems the neighbor had elite koi who were able to do dolphin tricks and solve differential equations.

I know a family with 3 young children who had a bull mastiff - powerful dog with a huge head, hard as rock and just as smart.
Kids and dog were out in the yard, kids went in and left the dog outside. Dog heard kids playing inside and went through the glass of the outer door cutting itself badly, but not seeming to notice. Said badly bleeding dog is rushed to the vet clinic where, in the reception area it proceeds to shake its head and shoulders as a wet dog would, spraying blood all over walls, chairs and waiting patrons. Not sure if the $800 vet bill included cleanup fees, but it was a big hit for a young teacher and his family!

Matrix came through with another download authorization for AE. After all, I just bought may second copy on 5-28. Now I just need to get the memsaab to let me use her laptop.

$50 for Hewlett-Packard to send a guy out to replace the motherboard...or I could wait for them to send me a box...send the whole thing back to them and then wait for them to send it back to me. Screw that. I'm jsut happy it's covered under the warranty.

Now...as for the 9 year old lab that broke the damn thing......

I'm thinking that poor old Pinhead suffered a serious head injury when that HP computer (deliberately designed to be unstable when sitting upright on a desktop) fell and injured his previously genius-level intracranial organs.

You deserve compensation from the evil 1% corporate exploiters of men and canines; imagine, adopting a shoddy design simply to increase corporate profits by a few cents per unit! Totally despicable.

I suggest that you retain the services of I. Dunn Cheatham, Esq., of Dewey, Cheatham & Howe (DW&C) to protect both the interests of yourself and your poor injured dog in the matter of HP's negligent and callous attitude towards injuring its customers.

If nothing else, think of the other dogs you will save from head injury by forcing HP to give you millions of dollars and agreeing to install an absolutely fail-safe anti-gravity accelerator in all of their future desktop products to prevent this sad episode from ever taking place again.

Mandrake, remember: You're not doing this for the money; you're doing it for the puppies yet unborn! What a saintly act!

Oooo, oooo, that's good!

I wonder if, when younger (i.e. "under age") did Pinhead work in a factory (guarding it in the scary night and suffering irreparable psychological harm) to make said infernal machines?

I think the Matrix sign in bot has been hijacked AQAP.

Sign in today is 7N2HO8. That may look like hullabaloo but it is really the first half of the formula for assembly of an IED.

7 moles of Bis-nitro-hydrogen octaoxide. I am not going to disclose the second half lest the men with the E-plates pay me a visit.

Took me a bit to deconstruct that.

Just to clarify, Pinhead is the Chihuahua, terrier, pit bull, llaso apso mix.

Cali is the 9 year brack rab.

As for Pinhead having been employed in a factory...maybe...but she would have been promptlyfired for ****ting in the foreman's office.

B-24's going after Koepang today.

Marine Para Bn dropping on Namlea as there appears to be no garrison. We shall see.

Lautem landing group has arrived in the Banda Sea. As Lautem also appears to be ungarrisoned, it may be better to drop the rest of 503rd PIR on Lautem tomorrow.

Admiral Lord SPrior;

I have a USMC Regt and a US ArmyRegt aboard an amphibious group approaching Darwin. They are not prepped but we could send them to Derby? We could be landing in 3 d.

Did you have someone else you wanted to use?

What about the Aussie para units? Do you need them or coudl they be used in the Sundas?

You can probably sail there quicker than I can drive tanks down the track.

I'm not sure the Aussie para units are actually parachute capable.

Ah, yes...well send the tanks anyway. If I put a regiment ashore and they dont have the firepower then we will need the help.

You'd think Kanga force would be able to make jumps. The Roo force meanwhile are regretting what they did.
