Love the puppies!

Per, you have started an annual THREAD tradition. Now, you will have to continue every year.

I guess it would be a little hard on the mother to have a litter every year I think the next one will be 2014.

I don't know if you remember, but I did the same thing 2010 and 2008. It was as appreciated then. Gotta love the little devils

I think what Comrade Red Mouse was suggesting was that he expected you to be galavanting off to the Turks / Caicos. Of course, he (as usual) was confused about your dates of vacation, failing to remember (as usual) that you stated you had 4 days there and would therefore not be leaving until later this week.

I suggest you repeat your post. Slowly. Use small words in English. He may yet glean your meaning.

Heys guys, I don't know about you but I'm really not happy with the fact that it's starting to seem like EVERY OTHER "opponents wanted" posting is always some one with less ten posts. Not only does this leave everything open to trolls "like you know who" , but it's starting to seem to me that most serious players feel the need to contribute to the forum. I realized that there are exceptions to this, like my current opponent "Satisfaction" who has a low post count , and a former opponent "Blind snipper" who had a low count when I played against them. While these "serial lurkers" don't post much, they were very willing to provide references (Or in "Satisfactions" case, his facebook page). And are OUTSTANDING , responsible players. Is it unreasonable to say in a Opponents wanted request , "no one with less than 100 posts need apply"? Would this help with some of the "Opponent trolls" that we are currently suffering?

Hi Steve,

I think your post recently in 'Opponents Wanted' was right on target. Opponents are asking us to invest hundreds or thousands of hours in them-the least they can do is get off of their collective electronic backside and contribute to the forum in a very modest way before we give them a game.

It's a very reasonable minimal 'ask' for an opponent and I would do something like that for my next CG PBEM opponent.

Steve-O, I think it would be unreasonable. There are all kinds of players who look for opponents. You can be sure to check out any potential opponents before you commit to a game. It's up to others to do the same, or buyer beware. Try not to take responsibility for other people's actions, even though it's hard sometimes when someone is wrong on the internet.

Don't worry too much, the serial trolls always manage to show their ass, no matter how much they try to hide it.

To be honest, I don't like that "Helmut-jumping" that has turned into a sport meanwhile. Yes, I participated last time. But what if he has changed and now searches for a real opponent? What if we mistake someone for him?

If I had more time, I'd even give him a try. But I'm afraid I have to play you first, old man.
