Oh, now i see .... "bogies" Thanks guys. I swear my english will improve AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR Jan 19, 42 Q-Ball sent what was left of his AVG to LRCAP Tsuyun... my CAP was too low and he probably sent his planes at 20k...so we ended up the fight with 3 zeros lost, 3 Oscars and 6 Sallies... and, above all, 5 crack fighter pilots lost... Oh well, my bad. However Tsuyun today has 130 AVs and 8,000 supplies and 1 fort...not bad! At Palembang he sent his damned ducth bombers at 1000 ft....my CAP was too high and i got a transport badly damaged... The good news of the day is that, finally, one of my AMCs found something (else than a sure death) north of NZ...a convoy with troops.... we did pretty well i'd say and even if we didn't destroy the whole little convoy, it feels good to finally make some allied soldiers sink in their ships The invasion of Ambon is on the move. Probably in 4 days we'll be ready to land. At Horn Island he has 5 units and 6,000 men!!!! ...think a regiment won't be enough....I will probably have to use those units devoted to Ambon once the latter falls....i'm fallin way behind my planned scheldue...uffff At Jahore Baru i had to order some units to move back...the stacking limit is 75,000 there and there's no way i can place there the equivalent of 6 divisions plus all the supporting units (HQs, Arty, Ind Engineer rgts etc) without burning all my supplies.... more days lost.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day Time Surface Combat, near Norfolk Island at 114,175, Range 17,000 Yards Japanese Ships AMC Kinryu Maru Allied Ships PG Herald xAP Adelong, Shell hits 2, on fire xAP Corio xAP Echunga, Shell hits 4 xAP Iron Master Allied ground losses: 47 casualties reported Squads: 0 destroyed, 2 disabled Non Combat: 0 destroyed, 2 disabled Engineers: 0 destroyed, 1 disabled -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day Time Surface Combat, near Norfolk Island at 114,173, Range 9,000 Yards Japanese Ships AMC Kinryu Maru, Shell hits 1 Allied Ships PG Herald, Shell hits 3, heavy fires, heavy damage xAP Adelong, Shell hits 2, heavy fires, heavy damage xAP Corio, Shell hits 2, heavy fires xAP Echunga, Shell hits 3 xAP Iron Master, Shell hits 1 Allied ground losses: 433 casualties reported Squads: 2 destroyed, 15 disabled Non Combat: 1 destroyed, 26 disabled Engineers: 1 destroyed, 2 disabled -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Morning Air attack on 60th Chinese/B Corps, at 75,50 , near Kweiyang Weather in hex: Heavy cloud Raid spotted at 20 NM, estimated altitude 8,000 feet.
