Thanks for the birthday wishes guys! It makes the pain of officially becoming a "senior citizen" much easier to bare!

Happy birthday!

That was yesterday, dumbass.

ETA: Full disclosure: I am a full day behind on the THREAD!!! In fact, I deserve the dumbastic title. Sorry, Comrade Red Mouse.

Play nice children! Apparently now I can say that with some authority.

Humor the old guy, fellas. He's very big on that age=authority jazz.

Listen you lot, this is my last week at work, I've already transferred most of my responsibilities and its a slow day on top of it. I will do anything required of me to boost my postcount, up to and including a faber. This will be your only warning.

Thanks for the warning, Comrade Red Mouse. You can't handle the responsibility of pulling off a Faber though*.

Then spend it working on a battleplan for our 2x2. Frankly I think we should lobby Dixie to join Sprior and be our opponents. Redcoats vs. Rebels. Even though both Simon and Martin actually wore/wear coats that were different shades of blue.

What about Warspite?

Sure. I had mentioned Dixie because he and I had been discussing doing a PBEM after he'd moved and settled in.

I am not good at being the Japanese!

I like the idea of a 2x2 game, but I'm not sure I can give the time it would need. As things stand I'm down to work 29 of the days in August which doesn't leave a lot of spare time.

If my game with VSWG, Scott and John is any indication, the average turnaround is on the order of 2-3 days, so I dont think time is that big a deal. Frankly, going into a 2x2 requires the understanding that it will take three times as long as the actual war.

Senility doesn't have to be caused by age. You can get alzhiemers or dementia at any age. In your case it might have be cause by too much smoking, too much drinking , living in BOTH SOCAL and NYC! That's enough to fry anyones mind!

Nope . Trying to get my hands around a very UN-kosher sandwich. Corned beef (Bully beef) and cheese!

There are no red-necks in NYC or LA. San Diego , maybe. Bakersfield...sure. But LA?
And Rednecks are as common in NYC as purple unicorns. I've heard they don't even have one in the zoo.

Dude, you have no idea. Suffolk County (the eastern end of Long Island) is full of them.

Some of the areas north of San Fernando in LA (Lancaster, etc) were pretty rednecky too when I lived there. Maybe they've been pushed out by the yuppies by now.
