Pfffft. When I have bits left it's always the exact amount that should be left, it's just that the manuals haven't been updated to take account of new working practices.

I agree with that 100%. In fact, it amazes me that IKEA manuals are so far behind on the updates that I constantly have parts left over.

Yes. A digital pizza. You can then print it out.

Ah. I stand corrected. You mean like power tools? BTW , do you guys have a carpenter on staff for the Hurricane?

It's a tubular steel construction with a fabric skin on the rear fuselage, so no need for a carpenter. We don't have a seamstress either.

Really? I had thought the Hurricane had wood stringers.Maybe early MK1's? I know the very 1st Spitfires had a wooden 2 blade propellor. (Which the RAF replaced as soon as possible). Thanks for the information!

I found my grandfather on Ancestry.com last night! He was in his early 50's when my dad was born, and died when my dad was only 6 years old. I didn't even know his name, much less where the Floyd family came from.

Welcome to the family, John Richard Floyd!

I have to remember that one for my wife when the tires fall off or a cabinet falls apart. "No, it's defective. Those parts were spares - I read it on the Internet!"

Leftover parts I don't worry about. Exact number is ok. BEING SHORT of parts is my big concern!

All the fighters are sporting wooden props. The Chippies and Lanc have metal blades.
