Really good rum is fantastic on the rocks! Most times I mix with Coke Zero.

How can you mix good alcohol with coke? It spoiles the taste!

I use coke if I have some cheap discounter spirit - but good one has to be consumed pure and without ice!

Coke is also good for getting tar off the tires.

I'm afraid that I agree with our Deutschland friend on this one. Fine liquor calls to be consumed 'neat'. Sometimes on the rocks. With a mixer? NEIN!

Yes it has been slow as of late. At least we don't have to wait in line.
Good morning. Another cup of coffee anyone?

No thanks. I'm hydrating. Very busy morning involving mucho chicken choking. Literally. No-I mean it.

Hows the arm/wrist?

Nope. Not much kid-fu power in Garage Logic, I'm afraid. We did mini donuts, the various animal barns (goodness-call ducks are cute!), the DNR fish pond, the 'kidway' rides and then the craft pavilions. Took the skyway ride back to our start line.

Food? Started with hot mini-donuts and scotch eggs. Coffee for the grown ups and strawberry smoothies for the young 'uns. Then ice cream sandwiches, shredded turkey sandwiches and root beer. Raspberry smoothy to cool off a bit. Later it was Famous Dave's BBQ ribs, 'ragin' ankles' and ice cold water. Oh yeah-a tub of chocolate chip cookies (still warm and melty) to take home for afterwards.

We walked for most of 6 hours. The kids held up surprisingly well, being as it was 93F in the afternoon.

Lots of good food. And washed down with root beer. Heaven. Did Marjorie Johnson make the cookies?

Seems like it happens every 2-3 years in So. Cal. Some old guy went through a crowd in Santa Monica a few years back and injured something like 40, IIRC.

I think they oughta make 'em take driving tests every two years after 80 years of age. Those that fail can either have their license revoked or move to Nigeria, where vehicular homicide is expected in their drivers.

Wow. I go away for a little while and the blind little runts grow into horses. "Don't blink", they say...

They look great, and love the names.

Yup. It's hard to believe that it's only 12 weeks since they were creeping around like blind little mice.
