congratulations!

I really have to go shooting somewhere here. I found a shooting range that rents you sub-machineguns. Sounds like fun!

Actually MOST do around here. They are just limited to what they have. Andre's Range however.......

hmm... Do they have a Bofors 40mm? That's on my list as well. AFAIK, there are a few in this country legally owned in fireing condition!

Steve's helping me work through my 'bucket list' of firearms very quickly. Two in one trip (.30 carbine and M-16) for me this time! MG42 is one of the few left. A minigun would be a hoot too.

Here's my gun range's list of rentables. I've done the Thompson and Bren.

http://billsgs.com/mg.html

ETA: Holy ****! They've added an MP40 and a Sten too! Definitely gotta get over there soon.

ETA: Just noticed an automatic MP5. Also on my bucket list. Well, Torsten, next time I run a few clips through this and the MP40, I'll keep you in mind.

As long as you don't keep me in aim...

I've seen his glasses.....wouldnt worry about him hitting anything he aims at.

I've seen him shoot.....twice. He generally hits EVERYTHING he aims at. I'd be worried if I were you!

That .30 carbine was a real honey of a shoot. Like I said a few days ago, I think I'm in love.

USS America, how are you coping with hockey withdrawal?

Not very well, considering how much I was looking forward to an improved Hurricanes team. I am optimistic about the recent movement on the negotiations front. For the first time, I think there is a better than 50% chance we will see a full season.

Meanwhile, I'm getting my fix from my son's U14 team. They are playing very well together and having some good success early in the season.

Are you in the Edmonton area? What's the mood like up there with all the recent bickering over a new arena?

You know if it wasn't for Hockey Night in Canada, and Coaches Corner with Don Cherry and Ron Mclean on saturday nights. And the return of the Winnipeg Jets. I'd most likely be washing my hands of pro-hockey all together. As a season ticket holder for Fighting Sioux hockey that is all I need. No shoot outs in College hockey. Division I hockey rocks.

Is UND in Division I hockey? It's kind of hard to remember, as the University of Minnesota buries them so often, I find myself wondering.

I'm still wondering why he used the reflexive 'familiar' form of possession preceding 'Madre'? If you don't know the guy, shouldn't you be using the more formal 'su'? for the imperative to follow?

I heard Germans are like that. They get all reflexive pronoun on you right before they invade.

It is kinda hard to tell when they out draw several NHL teams in attendance. And how many NCAA and WCHA banners do the Goopher's have hanging from the rafters.

Well, it makes sense. Since you cant have guns or knives....or freebees anymore, thats the only "weapons" you have left.
