Why thank you for asking old chap. Here is the actual quote from a "war" film (no googling now):

I look out there at all you wonderful guys and I say to myself, "what I wouldn't give to be twenty years younger . . . and a woman."

Mgła - Groza III
The official album sample (full song):
http://www.no-solace.com/mgla_groza.mp3

Now I am become death.
Crawling, slithering along the edge.
Shattered splinters, frozen in an eruption of light.

Craving for stench of divine rot.
Scratching the bare core of hideous truth.
Wherewith shall it be received,
when the soules precious vessel lies ruined and lost?

Now I am become death.
Pierced by those signals of transcendence.
Right at the 5 minutes of salvation.

The bitter blood of the Lamb.
Shattered grace. Ashen virtue.
The horror. The horror.
A precious jewel of His making.

And as the light embraces the wanderer,
as knees bend as thought is obliterated,
with the very moment that resistance has ceased,
now, I am become death, the enemy of man.

Here's a funny one. Jimmy Fallon (not really a fan) doing Jim Morrison, singing the Reading Rainbow.

Personally I still think the best version is John/Safina (below) - but I like Ellie Goulding's version too - a beautiful, vulnerable voice.

After singing that, she was easily the favourite of X-factor....but she turned into a bit of a one trick pony. THAT audition was class though.

Mgła is on of the best Polish (and in general) Black Metal bands. They have more samples on their site.
There's another band which has the same lead as Mgła - Kriegsmaschine.

Check out:

Altered States of Divinity

My flesh and my heart have fainted away,
and I became a blaze, a reflection of the void.
Locked within the maze of serpent scales,
His light shall gently scorch the earth.

The tongues we speak are of the dead
and what dwells in us is not humane.
Oh, divine flame,
leading existence towards endless enthropy...
Chaos!

Let the Lord be in our hearts and on our lips,
within the luscious saliva we spit into open mouths.
May the words of the gospel wipe away the stars
and may their years be counted nothing.

Canite Deo, canite regi nostro, quia rex terrae,
Deus canite, quia ipse Deus, Deus noster.
Dominus salvabit me.

Infect through me!
Ruin through me!
Burn my lungs with the praise,
tear my mouth with the name!
Bleed me!
And shall my blood drain the world to ashes,
with each single drop dissolving the bonds of creation.

It looks all new seen through undead eyes,
with earthborn flesh pulsating with its light.
May the words of the gospel wipe away our kin
and may their years be counted nothing.
All you earthborn, all you sons of men,
through your bloodveins shall flow the praise.

Canite Deo, canite regi nostro, quia rex terrae,
Deus canite, quia ipse Deus, Deus noster.
Dominus salvabit me.

and

Through the Eyes of the Blind

Brethren!
Shall your loving hands strangle each others throat
in praise of chaos, blossoming pukeridden flowers of doubt.
Let the hatred take over all what was said and thought
to erase logic and reason and turn the consciousness down.

Cut your skin and it shall bleed ambrosia,
for to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Break your bones to find manna inside,
for every one that asketh receiveth.
Tear your eyes out and behold the Vision,
for he that seeketh findeth.

A thousand shapes, a thousand names,
a thousand shadows cast by a thousand flames.
Through the ears of the deaf, through the eyes of the blind,
through the mouth of the mute we shall sing these psalms!

We bring you these gifts, o Serpent,
through the ears of the deaf, through the eyes of the blind
and through the mouth of the mute,
through all of what the seed of death has already been planted in.

Killing Moon & Lips like Sugar are forever etched into my memory. These filled the airwaves while I was chasing my Soulmates in Pasadena & southern California for more than 10 years. Sigh, the beautiful, vampyric bloodsuckers on the Island of Gold...

Love CCR. Good Southern Rock. Hard to believe they came out of San Fran with that sound. Then again, The Allman Bros did really good up there especially at the Fillmore East. They had a great double album recorded there. A couple of the tracks were over 20 minute long jams, a staple of the Allman Bros. 'Mountain Jam' was over 33 minutes long and no lyrics. An awesome song.

How about another?

Gabriellas sång is a favorite song of mine. Maybe because I get emotional when I listen to the Swedish lyrics. When I was looking online for it I came across this version translated (from Swedish) and sung by the amateur Elsie I was impressed. I do like it although the lyrics in this version is not as good as in Swedish. Anyway, I am impressed by the young lady.

Weird, I didn't even remember I had something like this on my HDD. I like the guitars and the mechanical-sounding percussion.
