I occupied a previously unoccupied city and it has production power zero. Is it the case with all such cities?

If I understand your question correctly, what you need to do is set production for the city you captured. First click on the production button that has the factory pic on it. The city's current production will be shown. In the case of a newly captured city, the four production slots will be empty. You must select what you want each slot to produce. As long as the city is manned by your people type, you may produce anything that you have available to you, but if the city is manned by a different people type, you are limited to political points or resource production. In addition, make sure that you assign your city's production to the desired HQ, otherwise, it doesn't know where to deliver what it has produced.

Hope this helps... Happy Hunting!

Hadley, I meant that the city has zero production points. I can select all the slots but the production output is zero.

Ok, now I think I understand what you are saying. When you first take a city, the production is zero, but on your next turn a portion of the city's production will return. It will continue to increase each turn until it finally reaches 100% of production. Think of it as a city getting back on its feet after coming under new management. I think somewhere in the loc info it tells you how much is recovered each turn.

Happy Hunting!

Turn to Sail. Hadley, it's indeed like you said - the city is gaining production points step by step.

On my last turn, I realized something about "Age of Steam". The map is really BIG!

Unfortunately SailingGuy is going to leave the game. His place is therefore open.

I believe he did not participate in any battles yet (at least not against human player) and his empire should be in more or less good shape.

Well to be honest I did join the game as Sail seemed keen on the idea, tho I am no fan of huge Naval games. You spend most of the time looking for something to fight. My vote would be for calling it, and and starting a 2V2 or 3v3 using 2.13 with officers. And more of a land based theme. However I will continue to play my turns if the consensus is to continue.

Hi, guys!

Sorry to hear about Phil. I look forward to his return down the road. Although I was enjoying the game, I tend to agree with ironduke. Phil and I had lagged behind and my sense was that you guys were in the driver's seat. We got bogged down in an effort to capture an AI capitol and it really took a toll on our expansion efforts. I'm willing to concede the game to ironduke and kombrig.

Phil was in both of the games I'm currently playing in. Thus, I need another game quickly or my withdraw symptoms will kick in. I'd very much like to be a part of a new game using 2.13 with officers. Haven't yet had the experience. Anyone game for setting it up?

Happy Hunting!

Can't have you suffering withdrawal sypmtoms I will attempt to put a 2 V 2 together, I have not started one before hopefully Kombrig will join so one more to find. If you have no preference we could team up and the fourth player could team up with Kombrig. If Kombrig is in agreement I will get it started.
