I've forgot about this song untill this morning when they played it on TV before the morning show began. A beautiful voice joined by acoustic guitar that makes a wonderful combination.

I bought the second Military Wives album. Not quite as good as the first but still worth buying and with a few really nice toons - Stronger Together, Rule The World and Right Here Waiting all hit the spot

Been listening to Don Henley's Greatest Hits. I bought it (of course) for this song:

Boys of Summer

But there is also the excellent:

Dirty Laundry

And the superb:

New York Minute

Human League

A brilliant song about JFK's tragic death.

....'All day, hiding from the sun,... waiting for the golden one'.......
....'Your knuckles white as your fingers curl,...the shot that was heard around the world'.
The song ratchets up the tension.
Superb.
An absolutely brilliant music video...very atmospheric.

If you watch the Zapruder film in this video, you can clearly see he was shot from the front.
There is no way the fatal shot came from the Book Depositry.

Good call Mr E - Dare, one of THE albums from my late teens

However, and if I may make so bold, I would refer you to the below mentioned. I always assumed this was about JFK too, and is, not to put too fine a point on it, the dogs dangly bits. Thank-you.

I'm afraid sir, you have been listening far to much to R&B, House, Rap, Garage etc, and you have come to believe that modern music can actually be listened to, enjoyed, and is actually any good.

I have talked to my friend Doctor Watson, and he recommends ice cold baths, Johnsons and Davies 'Imperial Mustard & Horse Grease Ointment', ( to be rubbed into assorted appendages four times a day by you Head Chambermaid ), and liberal doses of Thin Lizzy, ACDC, MotorHead, Kiss, Genesis, and other assorted Rock bands be applied to your ears without further delay.

He has assured me that a full cure for your debilitating and scurilous condition is completely achievable.

Warspites friends gather round in concern in 'The Victorian Employer's Club for Filthy Rich Industrialist's.', and attempt to administer Dr. Watsons Remedies.
( I'm at the back third from left, trying to encourage Warspite to wake up by prodding him with a lit cigar )

Warspite undergoes treatment in Dr. Frankenstein's surgery.
