It's Gameday here. My focus is on Atlanta today. Go Dawgs!!

My best wishes to them.....whoever they are.....and whatever it is theyre doing.

I know that you folks up there in the frozen north have forgotten the great game of college football, but where I grew up and went to school it is a religion...

Nope, not a clue.

BTW, who you calling frozen north?

Oops! I forgot... you're in California these days (a state where the Pac12 championship had one quarter of the seats empty), aren't you? I also moved to the left coast (decades ago) but I don't forget the old song "Be true to your school"...

Not sure who he is, or how funny/ironic its meant to be, but there's some pretty good advise in here.

My school's football team could have been describes as "marginal" in the best of times. Basketball was slightly better but not much.

LOL... that person has been at every Gameday involving the Bulldogs for several years. I remember all my friends laughing at the idiot the first time we saw his/her sign. We've been trying to decide if it's just someone laughing at himself, or a Techie trying to embarrass the University of Georgia...

Everyone is saying it is a sad day to be a KC Chiefs... I guess so...not really. Pretty annoying actually, especially being a parent.

Don't pray for Belcher, pray for his two month old daughter he left without parents.. One of the most incredibly selfish things I have ever heard of.

Wish I hadnt looked that up. Very sad.

The Wyoming community college incident appears to be a family relater matter as well now.

In other sad news....the Big E is calling it a career.

Lou's pretty bummed about the Enterprise....her last ship. (And her other two are now razor blades!). I can feel her pain, every squadron and almost every base I've been assigned to are gone. I suspect the next Enterprise will be a LHA (like Wasp,Essex,America and Boxer).

Me too, mine were either "expeneded" as a torpedo target or slowly rotting at Rosyth dockyard.

I looked up panto last year when you mentioned the Christmas one. I dont know how enjoyable it is to watch, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that as far as I am concerned, the UK as a nation has lost all license to make fun of the French for liking mimes.

Sods opera I just looked up and the first example was of Brits abusing the melody from the Battle Hymn of the Republic, which as you very well know from the case of Eisenhower v. Montgomery, only Americans are allowed to do. Since I'm feeling extra patriotic this morning, I have chosen to take offense on behalf of my entire nation and will shortly call for a full boycott of Sods Opera in the US. That'll show you!

Still, what does that have to do with "blokes" (or was it "yobs", I can never remember) dressing up in women's clothing and running around?
