Where's our turn Yankee dogs? How long does it take you two to look at the map and cry a little before sending us the turn?

You take four months then complain that I take the weekend to set up turn 1? Go cry me a river LYB!

Pffft. I tried getting it done sooner, but for some reason the RAF seem to think that I should be spending my time fixing vintage aeroplanes rather than playing computer games. They just just don't understand Anyway, you don't have much to do on turn 0 as the Allies, just issue lifejackets to all your sailors and dig out your insurance policies

As I said before, go cry me a river. Unlike the Crabs, the USN requires all insurance policies to be done in triplicate and looked over by a lawyer. And WE require everyone be given a life jacket AND a helmet!

We got rid of our lawyers.

Yep. Along with your bombers. And your MPA. We didn't. So things take a little longer. We call it "taking our time and doing it right".

OK, somebody needs to Clue me in on The Thread....

OK, I'll give it a try. As one of the newest inhabitants of the thread I see it this way.

The Thread is in the same sense that Mount Everest is and Shangri-La isn't.

Hope this helps.

OK, that answer is totally useless, yet totally brilliant!
I think I get the picture.

To put it in more succinct terms, THE THREAD!!! is the place where it's perfectly acceptable to blather away about just about anything.

There are just three (?) rules;
1/ No politics
2/ No religion
3/ Don't take yourself too seriously

Guess I forgot some unwritten rule, but I guess my fellow THREADsters will be more than happy to fill them in. That never seems to be a problem

Otherwise, I agree that fodder put it in *very* poetic terms

In other footbal stuff, I'll sign this one if someone can show me where to do it.

Cowboys fans petition Obama to oust Jerry Jones.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000101646/article/cowboys-fans-petition-obama-to-oust-jerry-jones

Hey-how 'bout them Cowboys! Good night tithe...

Hey- are there men in this country that haven't seen your bosoms? Whoops, wrong channel.

SO YA WANNA SEE SOME FOOTBALL?!! Notre Dame had a perfect season against Mary Help of Christians School for Girls, three highschools for penitentiary trustees, couple decent Big-10 teams, and Stanford (in overtime??).

Now they have finished congratulating themselves, the plump of the pudding pushes peurile, porcine, pronunciamento into the dank, dreaded, depths of derperate degradation. They gotta play FOOTBALL with the SEC. Living down here in Mobile Bay, I'm like in Alabama. And only a few miles from Florida, a few more from Mississippi, hop-skip-and-a-jump more to Louisiana, somewhere about in the middle of that to Georgia. I'm in Football, USA.

Bring it. I'll take bets on any SEC team, and anyone who plays USC , just because.

Hey, just cause I lost a dinner bet with Mike on the Army, Navy game, don't mean I can't collect your money. I'll prolly need it to buy Mike's dinner. I ain't cheap, so I'll need a poopload of pocket change.

JWE

He's right. He forgot an unwritten rule.

That is: "It's OK, every now and then, to post pictures of Swedish bikini models on THE THREAD!!!".

That was so important that you had to list it twice?

Weren't you just calling someone an "LYB" in the previous page? Care to explain to the THREAD noob exactly what that acronym stands for?

Ok, will do. But I guess that the "now" in "now and then" will occur the upcoming summer. Bikini models seems to be a little out of season with -13C outside.

Nobody ever said that they have to be temporally accurate. Post away of "historical" (e.g., anything on the interwebs before today) images too, Per. There's probably a few out there I've not seen.

Maybe we should invent a new THREAD rule, that the ones currently having summer should also post bikini pics to reminds the others what summer is like?

Hi all,

Something for John...

This is "Prana" - the most beautiful yacht I have ever seen with my own eyes... I took the pictures with my iPhone at night (hence not so good quality)...

If I am not mistaken 1 week on her costs 250.000 $ (yep two hundred and fifty thousands US dollars )...

Funny too see how this "LYB"-speak has spread from the worlds worst AAR (tm) to the rest of the forum. It shows up here and there.

Fascinating. And coor in a rittre nerdy way.

The pictures were taken in August this year on one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic...

I just wonder when RYBese will become an official world language?

Problem is, if RYBese would become an official language, all AE:ers would giggle themselves to death every time they saw some movie dubbed to that language.

Damn. She is utter georgeous isn't she. Your third pic shows her lines real nice. Oh my gosh, can you say elegant? There's maybe three women on the planet that come close to that degree of sleek, stylish, racehorse beauty. Oh, yeah. Ed Dubois, Duncan Fawkes, and Mike Benakis. Michelangelos in glass, resin and carbon fiber.

Thanks for the pictures Leo. Seems like many of these beauties hang around in the Adriatic and the Med. You find more, don't be shy. I'll look at all you can get pics of.

Ciao. John
