ORIGINAL: jeffk3510 +1 Every animal we have ever had has been from the shelter. Love going there to pick out animals. Too bad I can't take them all...thats the tough part. We only took cats from there - and all were nuts. Well, they *were* cats, weren't they? A tomcat jumping into your face, hitting your nose with his head - but not biting - while slapping BOTH of your ears at the same time with his paws - again without the claws out - sounds somewhat weird, doesn't it. I never heard that from another cat. But I still loved Snoopy! I never suggested they were nuts in a uniform manner. Usually they're nuts in their own particular idiom. I would agree, just like humans for that matter. I have had, including growing up, ten cats. Eight at my folks, who currently have three and we have our two. Very, very different personalities. I loved having the variety. Of the ten, only three were (are) males. Even are dogs were (are) mainly females. We're not crazy with it like some folks, but they are very much members of our family, and having to put down all previous animals was very difficult at that time. Of the two we have now, we almost didn't get the second one. The day we went to get one, this one kept fighting with my sweater, and I thought we aught to have two together. It was a great decision. Mainly because the one we went to get is the most annoying animal I have ever been around in my life. I would miss her if she wasn't around though
