Bugger. It's not looking like I'll be needing the alarm...

Yeah, it has been almost an hour and Des hasn't reported back...

Probably just tripped over a hobbit. I hear they have plenty of them running around.

Comrade, you're in rare form this afternoon.

You're actually being quite funny.

Ahhh, my public adores me. I'd like to thank all the little people.....

I have to admit that I smiled when I read that one.

I'm in accord with my English THREAD brother on this one.

You don't trip on them down here, you stamp on the little buggers and squash them.

That's what I'd do to them.

Morning tithe... well it's the morning of the 21st of December, I can still feel my fingers and toes-es, so much for the world ending.

The Mayans were on US Central time. Stop being so NZ-centric.

This one did make me smile.

Settle down mouse, he said quite funny. Don't start thinking your are up there in my league.

Of course not. I cant possible hope to compete with a great, big, hairy, perpetually confused-looking, flightless bird for comedic prowess.

Oh yes. Have had this hobby going since last summer. Have found a geocache every day since then (520+ days)

If you want to know more about it, check http://www.geocaching.com

Hi Torsten.

Just got a vintage Browning BPS 12 gauge with a cherry wood stock, forepiece and fittings, for my niece's husband for Christmas. He's an avid duck hunter, but could use a good gun. 28" barrel, choked skeet. Beautiful piece of workmanship. Though you might appreciate that.

JWE

Oh I do!

We have to talk when your president changes the laws. I'll need someone to buy me a few assault rifles, a few dozend magazines a few thenthousand rounds. it would be too bad if the law changes just before I can buy them myself!

Has Germany already erupted into chaos? Which for Germany means that people have stopped saying "thank you" and "I'm sorry".

Sorry, mate. I think three columns of greasy black water, mixed with flames, shooting up 200' in the air by the side of that carrier would make it look much better.

Well, I'm taking off for 9 days in San Antonio, Texas. Warmth, family, good BBQ. Christmas in Texas is alright.

Taking a forum hiatus while I'm away, so you guys enjoy your holidays. Best wishes to all Thread brothers and theirs wherever they may be.

Hey there Chicken... not the Texas where everything is bigger.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, and be safe.

Also the only burning carriers we are going to see are yours mate.

No. Americans are way more polite. We are just orderly here.

If someone cuts the line, then there's chaos and we are entering the apocalypse!

Well, Des, I contributed my bit to your nation's economy by going to see An Unexpected Journey tonight. I think they showed some much nicer scenery in this one compared to the LOTR trilogy - some very pastoral valleys this time. I've always wanted to visit New Zealand (hell, I've often thought I would like to move there) but I'm sure that this is as close as I'll ever get...

Well, we're neither of us British. They just seem to have a natural aptitude for forming orderly queues.
